Allah says "don't fear Shaytaan and fear (itself)" - there is NO "fear me" instead of fearing Shaitaan. Allah is telling us TWICE - don't fear. So do not fear at all. But do be concerned/awestruck/aware/conscious of Allah and the terrible consequences for going against Allah, His Messengers, His Angels, His Books, and the reality of The Last Day. ------------------------- ONLY that The Satan he makes HIS ALLIES fear. (1) Not just the absence of "fear (khawf) of Allah"; (2) and the absence of "fear Me"; (3) but now also the absence of "Shaitaan makes you afraid of his allies". Its actually that Shaitaan makes his ALLIES afraid. NOT us. He makes his allies afraid. And THAT is why we should not fear them. His allies are acting out of FEAR. They are blinded by FEAR. We cannot think straight and reason well under fear.
