FIGHT FOR MEN‼️ Acts 12:5 Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him. There is a major rise in cases of rejection due to the discovery of inadequacies in various relationships especially in the Christian domain. Many of us quickly disassociate and disengage with individuals we perceive to have traits that do not entirely exude the Christ yet we forget that everyone is a work in progress. I am not preaching against issues of arrogance and pride because even God resists such( see James 4:6) however in cases of backsliding, issues of demonic contention and others, we are to stand with these people as the church did for Peter when he got arrested. The church of today is taking a form that completely undermines and downplays the doctrine of intercession all in the name of “right circle” and this is going to lead us into a situation where most parts of the church will be left exposed to the enemy because no one covers up for anyone who’s growing weary. We leave people to die how they are and actually hope to see that happen so we come back to our congregations and tell them how right we were to disassociate from them in order to get their approval. Meanwhile all this is happening at the expense of souls that God cherished enough to die for. I believe this is one of the greatest deceptions of darkness and we must endeavor to seek the face of God to be delivered from this treachery.

THERE ARE OTHERS‼️ In this teaching, the man of God explains one of the major setbacks in the body of Christ today which is the inability of many vessels of God to recognize and acknowledge the works of God in other ministers. Though it may be a bit long, kindly listen with rapt attention to understand this subject better.

TALK TO GOD‼️ Since the introduction of the gift of tongues in the book of acts chapter two, many believers tend to have more interest in utilizing this gift in prayer than praying with their understanding. While this is good, we have to acknowledge the fact that Jesus was the first person to receive the Holy Spirit ( see Luke 3:22) yet in most situations we never hear him speak in tongues. We strongly believe that he prayed in tongues more often in secret than in the open( see 1 Corinthians 14:27-28). We never hear him pray in tongues publicly. The thing about tongues is that it is a type of Communication which requires utterance from the spirit before it can become effective (see Acts 2:4). In other words once the spirit is not giving utterance no matter what comes out of your mouth it is not regarded as tongues because it cannot reflect in the spirit. Meanwhile for our engagements to work actively, we are advised to ensure everything is happening in spirit and in truth( see John 4:24). So the introduction of the speaking of tongues wasn’t to eradicate or get rid of the art of praying with understanding. My dear if you are praying in tongues and nothing is changing, there is a problem with the utterance and you must switch to the art of praying with understanding because it is allowed( kindly see 1 Corinthians 14:15). Talk to God in your understanding because sincerity is a very important factor God considers in prayer( see 1 Samuel 16:7) and you cannot be sincere without understanding what you are saying to begin with. When praying in tongues it’s not your sincerity at work but the sincerity of the Holy Spirit because we aren’t the ones praying anyway but the spirit( Romans 8:26).
