IIM Tiruchirappalli wishes to provide hands-on training to qualified Library and Information Sciences postgraduates to help them find a career in the libraries of more prominent institutes. Toward this endeavor, it invites applications for Library trainees (3 nos.) for a period of one year. A stipend of Rs.20,000/- per month (consolidated) will be given to each selected trainee during the period. The minimum eligibility criteria for this position are a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science. Knowledge of computers is essential. Previous working experience is desirable. Age limit: Upto 28 years. Selection would be through a written test followed by an interview.
