With tracks for both native Secret Network dApps and cross-chain EVM, Solana, and Cosmos SDK dApps, this flexible hackathon is open to all Web3 developers. It features a $12,000 prize pool, including a $5,000 bounty from Sei (https://www.sei.io/) for cross-chain Sei x Secret dApps.
HackSecret 4 runs from September 16th to October 16th. Throughout the month we'll be hosting educational workshops and open calls to assist hackers with any questions they may have. After the hackathon, participants will be eligible for continued support from the Secret Network team, including development, funding, and strategic advisory. We want to see your project succeed!

How does this work?
Secret's confidential computing is powered by Trusted Execution Environments, or TEEs. A TEE is a secure area of a computer processor that enables encrypted data to be computed without being revealed to the public, or even to the TEE operator.
Secret’s Confidential Computing Layer essentially enables other blockchains, like Gnosis Chain, to communicate with Secret’s TEEs, by way of cross-chain message passing between smart contracts.
By integrating Secret’s Confidential Computing Layer with Gnosis Chain, we’re unlocking new possibilities for one of Web3's longest running Ethereum sidechains.
