📑 31st Vis Moot - Saturday Schedule and registration information. Dear Teams and Arbitrators, Please find attached the schedule as it currently stands for Saturday 23 March 2024. We ask that everyone check the schedule (even if you are not expecting to plead or arbitrate today) as there are sometimes last minute changes. If you are listed to arbitrate and you cannot make the session, please decline the hearing in your arbitrator account. We do have a number of slots still available today and across the other days. We are always grateful to arbitrators who can volunteer for extra hearings - and especially those who can be at one of the venues just before the start of a hearing just in case we need a fill in. The Juridicum is open today from 8am to 18:00. All teams and arbitrators should attend the Juridicum to register their arrival at the competition. However, please note, if you are not pleading or arbitrating in the 8:30am session, we would be grateful if you did not come to the Juridicum until after 9:30am. Dear Teams, The hearing schedule for the 31st Vis Moot has just been released. You will find the full details of your hearings (including rooms, dates and times) in your team accounts. Besides the new information on your hearings, you have now also the opportunity to indicate who of the team members will attend the oral hearings in Vienna. The people attending is important for us to know in order to make some final arrangements on our side. You can indicate who will attend, following the below steps: - login to your team account - proceed to add team members (third box) - click on the "edit" box next to each student name - indicate who will attend the oral hearings using the drop down. All team members listed in the team account will receive a certificate of participation regardless of whether they are participating physically in Vienna or not. 📰 One Thing You Need To Know About the Proposed Revision to the English Arbitration Act. 👨🏻‍🏫 Prof. John Fellas shares his article published on the New York Law Journal: 🎯 His Article article offers a view from across the Atlantic of the Bill that is currently before the English Parliament that, if passed, would amend the English Arbitration Act. He focused on one proposed amendment in particular of which parties in other countries need to be aware as it is likely to run counter to their expectations.
