Ten Hag: "One of the conclusions you can already make is about the frontline, that is a concern. I think we really made progress in football: pressing, playing out from the back and also attacking, but the final third of our game we have to improve."

Ten Hag: "I’m so happy he’s [Martial] back now and that we can manage him and that he stays fit because he is an important part of the squad."

Ten Hag: "Of course, we analyse that as well, he’s [Martial] analysing that, what can we do to change that? We took some measures to do that, so it’s always when you often have injuries and illness, there is a reason."

Ten Hag: "If you can’t do that, then it’s really difficult to get into the first four, if you don’t have the players to construct a proper offensive line."

Ten Hag: "In the front line, the availability of the players - that is a concern for us. We had so many games, like Newcastle United, Marcus Rashford ill. We had to play some other games where we have to improvise to construct a proper offensive line."

Ten Hag: "It’s quite clear in my way of playing, I like the type that Anthony Martial is because he can hold the ball, he’s a target, he can link up, he can also run behind, he has speed, he can finish and he’s a good presser."

Ten Hag on Anthony Martial: "He plays very well in a lot of aspects of football, I’m happy with that, except his availability. But we also have others and we have played with Marcus Rashford as the nine. We also have Cristiano Ronaldo, so we have more options there."

Carabao Cup fourth round draw: Manchester United vs Burnley

🗣️ Marcus Rashford on Benni McCarthy: "He's definitely helped me a lot. To have them attack-minded coaches is good for us in the squad, he's always there speaking to us about these things." [Sky Sports]

🗣️ Marcus Rashford on playing on the left and centrally: "I think if you watch me play on the left, I make a lot of runs into that position [centrally] anyway. I try and end up in the face of the goal, that's where the goals are scored so that's where I want to be." [Sky Sports]

Marcus Rashford: “My aim is to enjoy my football and at the moment I am. If I am scoring goals and winning, then I am happy! I try to end up in a place for the goal. I would say I am more comfortable on the wing, back to goal I need to improve a lot on that.” #MUFC

Marcus Rashford: “Balls diagonally from full backs or from the middle to wide positions are always on, the second half we managed to time our runs a bit better.” #MUFC

Marcus Rashford: “They [Aston Villa] hold a high line, no defender likes to run backwards - it's pretty simple, we want to get in behind them. Both times we went behind we responded quickly and it is a massive shift in energy.” #MUFC

Marcus Rashford: “It was a game of two halves. First half it was not great in possession so it was similar to the other day. The second half we played with a lot more confidence.” #MUFC
