The UPSC Prelims 2024 was tough.
Yes thats true..!!!
After getting feedback from more than 100 students I have come to this conclusion.
Many aspirants were smilimg on the day of Examination.
They all thought that the paper was easy. All rejoiced. All thought that Acche Din aa gaye.
Yes it was easy as compared to 2023. This led to high attempts & high silly mistakes. making the scores fall.
So overall the paper was of UPSC standard.
Sincere Aspirants are stuck with marks between 80-90.
Yes CSAT was managable. It will not be an issue for sincere aspirants.
So the bottom line according to me is the cut off for UPSC will be 88 (+/- 3) for Open General Students.
Those who are getting 85 or above marks should start mains preparation immedietly.
