Big Omega Extension New Version Update v1.1.0 Coming Soon... 1. UI/UX Improved - Now company tags are shown just above problem statement, so run, submit buttons are not hidden 2. Toggling the theme of leetcode website will also toggle the theme of BigOmega extension in order to match/sync with the leetcode website

Coding Interview following these steps: Step 1: Clarify the problem (eg:"Describe a good algorithm for sorting a million numbers" -What is the range of the numbers?/ How are they distributed?/ Are the numbers integers or floating points?/ How much memory is available?/ Are there duplicates?) Step 2: Define your approach Step 3: Propose a solution (Propose a solution before coding. Faster to find mistakes verbally than coding out a solution that may be incorrect/ Feel free to say that your first solution will be refined later/ Run through at least one or two examples to check for correctness/ Use reasonable variable names or clean up the code after the first pass/ Ask if the interviewer has any questions before refinement) Step 4: Propose an alternative solution (Ask your interviewer if you have time to find a better solution/ If so, clarify assumptions (e.g., improving performance)/ Rinse, repeat/ Compare the solutions) Step 5: Implementation

System Designing Tip of the day If you are not sure where to start in a system design, always start with the data storing system. It will help to keep your focus aligning with the requirements of the system.

Becoming a skilled data scientist isn’t magic. It’s hard, consistent work. Focused on these 5 things: 1. Becoming a subject matter expert, often required of a data scientist, takes a long time. 2. Being skilled in statistics not only takes hard work up front but a lot of work to keep current in the field. 3. Keeping your programming skills up to date is hard. Getting to be a strong programmer takes years. 4. Learning how to teach and work with stakeholders is intricate and challenging. It should be tough! 5. Mastering SQL can be an entire career for many. For data scientists it’s one part of the job. Embrace the challenge, and don’t expect it to feel easy. Learn every day 😊 #statistics #data #datascience #analytics #machinelearning
