Nuevo informe de Buenas Prácticas BP/30 sobre aproximación a la Inteligencia Artificial y la ciberseguridad
Ya está disponible el Informe de Buenas Prácticas BP/30 elaborado por el Centro Criptológico Nacional que aborda la relación entre la Inteligencia Artificial y la Ciberseguridad.
El documento, traducido al inglés y francés, ofrece un acercamiento a una nueva práctica que fusiona estas dos parcelas de conocimiento: la Inteligencia Artificial aplicada a la ciberseguridad (AICS).
El Centro Criptológico Nacional ha hecho público el informe BP/30 sobre la “Aproximación a la Inteligencia Artificial y la ciberseguridad” donde explora el creciente vínculo entre dos disciplinas aparentemente distantes entre sí: la Inteligencia Artificial (IA) y la Ciberseguridad, y la nueva actividad surgida de ambas la denominada Artificial Intelligence CyberSecurity, AICS.
El informe hace un breve recorrido por la historia de la IA para después abordar sus fundamentos (Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Algoritmos de clasificación e IA generativa) y aplicaciones. En este sentido, la detección de amenazas y análisis de comportamiento, la respuesta automática y orquestación, la predicción de amenazas, la identificación y autenticación biométrica, el análisis de vulnerabilidades y pentesting automatizado o la defensa, son algunas de sus principales funciones.
Los escenarios de estudio, los desafíos y limitaciones de la IA en ciberseguridad, así como el futuro de esta disciplina son otros de los apartados del documento ahora presentado.
Junto a ellos una serie de recomendaciones y buenas prácticas en las que se destaca la necesidad de integración entre equipos de ciberseguridad y equipos de IA, así como la formación continua y el diseño de sistemas robustos y resilientes. Como conclusión, el informe señala que “a medida que estas disciplinas continúan evolucionando y entrelazándose, es esencial que adoptemos un enfoque proactivo, colaborativo, regulatorio y ético para enfrentar los desafíos del futuro”.
