Gift Nifty indicates a minor Green opening.
Nifty had a poor price action yesterday. The only thing is its a HH & HL. Almost went near the 100 SMA and fell down. 24027.57 is the 100 SMA for today. Now this numbers becomes the very important resistance. Only on sustaining above this we will see continuation. Else all upmoves will get sold into for a consolidation for few session.

Gift Nifty indicates a gap up opening.
Nifty closed below 100 SMA after 24th July. If this is a false break down today's close must be above the 100 SMA. As of now its at 24029.34. As long as it stays above yesterday low of 23786, I expect the index to close above the 100 SMA. In such case a test of 20 SMA is not ruled out.

Gift nifty indicates another gap down opening.
Nifty managed to close above 100 SMA. Today's close is very important. It will open very close to 100 SMA. If manages to climb above, we will see a recovery. 24143 is the immediate resistance. A tricky day for trading. 24900-25150 would be the range. Trade the boundaries.
VIX rose more than 7% yesterday. Sentiment for Bulls will weaken further if today's close is below 100 SMA.

Gift Nifty indicates a red tick.
Nifty tested the 100 SMA. But closed above it. Can it defend the level again is a question for today. If able to defend, a test of 10 SMA is not ruled out. 23993 to 24012 is the important range. As long as this sustain, I will bet in favour of bulls. If this goes, then a panic selling will take Nifty to 23900 ID.
Its weekly expiry for Nifty. Pls remember this is 5 week series. First two weeks will be usually choppy or rangebound. Pls ensure to book profits on time. | 205 |
