| 8 | 🌱 Situationship U P D A T E!! 🌱
I've been planning to get some studio to rent me a box/cabin so I am able to tattoo properly and get traction on the tattoo side.
I've been talking with one closeby, and today we came to an aggreement!
They need someone to cover their front desk for appointments and such (since their current schedule is erratic due to having a baby), and in exchange I'd receive a small commission from the apps I quote for them, aaand I could tattoo my own clients in their studio for free. Usually you pay a 30-50% of the earnings to tattoo in someone else's studio, so this is good!
The downside is that, obviously, this is not a properly paid job with a contract, and so I'd need to keep up the freelance to be able to legally be there :_]
It's not the besssttt ideal situation, but if I get an extra small income from this, as well as experience and contacts, I'm all in!
This situation will last until September, when their baby gets into kindergarten and they can be back with their usual schedule.
By then, I might be able to stay with them, if they're able to hire me properly, or any other thing might happen.
It's a little unclear now, but for now I'm super excited with this next step.
I think it will be positive to go work somewhere else than home. Working home and keeping a schedule is hard af, and definitely not my strongest trait.
Getting to deal with tattoo people, being in a studio, seeing how things work, and also making friends with these people (they seem to be precious af btw!), I think it'll be a positive experience.
Don't think I'll gain much from their commission though, but anything extra is welcomed tbh. We're still talking about the commission percentage.
Regarding commissions, this means I will still be taking them until September at least. I will probs be focusing more on tattoos, pet portraits and so on, as time goes. But anyway, we'll see how things develop from there!!
TLDR; I will start a somewhat apprenticeship at a studio, until September, but I'll need to keep the freelance going to make it possible.
So I'll keep taking comms during that time, and we'll see what happens from September on!!

| 14 | My friend needs urgent help.
One of her dogs recently died all of sudden in his sleep, and the next day a pile of kittens fell from the roof on a neighbor patio, Mitsu took them in to take care of them.
A couple of them have then died of complications including parvo, which has also taken the life of one of her own cats despite having the kittens in a quarantined room.
I'm so devastated, Mitsu and Dalgon are two of the most caring people I've known in my life and they keep suffering nonstop, I remember telling them at Ibercon that their past life Karma must be catching on, trying to joke, but it's really bizarre to see how terrible things keep happening to them all the time.
Please consider lending a hand with the expenses, I have no idea how they're still holding their life together at this point.
I'm not able to help at this moment but I'm trying to get the word out there at least :_0

I am not allowed to step down from freelance until the aggreement I made last year for a gvmt aid is closed. (Kit Digital)
I've been told I have to wait at least 4 weeks or until all steps of the aid are mark as finished in the official website, as the gvmt has to pay the aid providers before things can be officially closed. It will take a while.
So I will be checking it every few days just in case, but I'm afraid it will still take those 4 weeks MINIMUM, and in the meanwhile I will be taking the commissions needed to pay the monthly fees.

It's a bigger text, but hopefully, everyone who follows my art should know what is happening next in my life and career.

Hi guys!
I've finally come to a very difficult decision in my life, which is that I will stop freelancing very soon.
Context, reasons:
Over the almost 6 years I've been freelancing as an artist, the year I made the most income was about 12k, in 2024.
In 2025 it was around 8k. This year, at month 5, I've barely made 1k.
This means in any normal job I would've been earning 200 per month (taxes already deducted).
As you may imagine, this is an unsustainable situation, and at this moment I'm basically working to only pay the freelance monthly fee (with difficulty), and being economically dependant on Gib, who isn't even making much either and is seeing his savings go down and down.
This is why we've both decided that I NEED to stop freelancing.
To, at the very least, not have to pay almost 400€ a month only to *be* a legal freelance, as if you're legal in Spain it doesn't matter that you earn 0, you still have to pay the monthly fee.
What's next?:
Thankfully, my mom helped me pay for a tattoo course recently, which has been a big dream of mine for over 10 years.
Apparently, my experience drawing helped me have a good hand at this and I've been told I could have a promising future doing it... which honestly sounds so dreamy. But seeing that I don't perform nor sell very well in the classic commission style, my next step is trying to make this work.
I don't aim for a famous future, I don't even see how MOST tattooers are so keen to open their own studio, I just want to have a stable work, stable income, and stable life.
I won't be disappearing, I will keep posting my tattoo work on the socials. The commissions that are still on the works will be finished too during these upcoming weeks!!
When it come to commissions in the future, I will hopefully keep doing some spare comms here and there, at least in the upcoming months where I most probably won't have a job and I will be practising the best I can on tattooing... probably not earning much with it.
I will still need to buy groceries and help Gib the best way I can, so I'll seek to still give some time to spare commissions if there's any interested.
Sadly... with this decision, this side of my life, being a digital furry artist, will definitely come to an end. It is something I've also dreamt since I was little, living as a freelance artist, living off my art and being an artist with "freedom". But life is just too hard atm, and it is becoming just impossible to keep up.
However, I am willing to let this dream fall away, because I have another dream to cling into, and hopefully that will help me not go crazy. Hopefully, what they say is true, and I just have a good hand for tattoing 🙏. At this point I hope for it so much, and I want to fight for it too.
Conclusion:
I very much choose to believe on this.
And thankfully, I'm not the only one believing.
Gib, my parents, his family and also my close friends believe in me too. I feel like crying right now, but it's a positive feeling :_]
I am sad to let the digital artist life go, but it has hurt me for so long. Anxiety completely floods my life as I've had to plan for money week to week since I signed up for freelancing. 6 years is a long time to be feeling severe anxiety daily, even with an ongoing medication treatment. It affects my body, my mind, but also my relationship with everyone else.
As said, you will still see me around, but commissions will be scarce, and in social media this side of my art will probably be completely forgotten with the lack of content.
After uploading my last commissions, a little while of practices and studies during the upcoming weeks or months, I will focus this account and bsky's one on tattoos mainly, and commissions rarely.
