2.9.2: a minor update of both Android version is available on the beta tracks. The free version also uploaded to the official FBReader site: https://fbreader.org/android. This version fixes footer update during text search as well as a possible crash during text search results browsing.

While 3.0 development is in progress, we continue to fix 2.x series. 2.9 beta 3 is in the Play Store. This release fixes page turning issues: animation freezes and sporadic missing pages.

First beta of FBReader 2.9 for Android. 2.9 requires Android 4.1 (was 4.0). This version will not be installable on old devices with ARM5 and MIPS processors. This beta fixes notification issues on new devices. FBReader 2.8.13 for Android is on its way to all Google Play users. The update fixes continuous "FBReader runs in background"/"FBReader is using battery" notifications on Android 8 devices.

FBReader 2.8.12 for Android rolled out to 10% of Google Play users. This minor update fixes issue with background synchronisation on Android 8. Full roll-out, as well as the Premium release, planned for Monday (13 August).
