A self-styled Ghanaian pastor Emmanuel Yeboah has been sentenced to 18 months imprisonment in Canada after being convicted of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl. A Takoradi-based Islamic cleric identified as Mallam Anas has been declared wanted over allegations of sexually abusing more than twenty (20) children between the ages of six (6) and ten (10) at his local mosque. According to reports, the suspect is alleged to be a serial offender whose previous conduct in communities where he formerly resided reportedly led to his eviction and banishment, with some allegations said to date back as far as 2008. In a disturbing audio recording allegedly involving one of the victims, the suspect is heard admitting to the act and urging the child to remain silent about the incident.
