Major Constituional Bodies in India in One table
Must revise again and again 🔥🔥🔥
The Basics Every OPSC OCS aspirant must know 👇👇👇
1- Understand the Exam First
Go through the complete syllabus and exam pattern of Odisha Public Service Commission (Prelims + Mains + Interview). Without this, preparation becomes directionless.
2- Start with NCERT + Basics
Build strong fundamentals using NCERTs (6–12) for History, Geography, Polity, Economy, and Science. Don’t jump directly to advanced books.
3- Focus on Odisha-Specific Content
OPSC gives high weightage to Odisha History, Geography, Economy, and Culture. Cover state-specific topics seriously.
4- Follow Limited Resources
Avoid book overload. Stick to one standard source per subject and revise it multiple times. Depth > Quantity.
5- PYQ is Your Bible
Solve Previous Year Questions (PYQs) to understand trends, repeated topics, and pattern. This gives real exam direction.
6- Daily Current Affairs (Smart
Way)
7- Focus on National + Odisha news, schemes, reports, environment. Do weekly revision, not just daily reading.
8- Make Short Notes
Prepare micro notes for quick revision and better recall, especially for Polity, Economy, Current Affairs.
9- Practice MCQs Regularly
Solve 25–50 MCQs daily for prelims. This improves accuracy + time management.
Start Answer Writing Early (For Mains)
10- Practice 2–3 answers daily with proper structure: Introduction – Body – Conclusion.
11- Revision is the Real Game
Revise every subject 3–4 times. Without revision, retention = zero in exam.
12- Consistency is Key
Maintain a daily 5–6 hours study routine with discipline. Consistency > Motivation.
