Recitation of Surah al-Aʿlā by Shaykh Abū ʿAṭīyah Maḥmūd حفظه الله With English Translation

This is not the style in which our Shaykh Abū ʿAṭīyah حفظه الله normally recites, but nevertheless a very nice recitation. The Shaykh is known to recite in a very slow melodious clear way (in his ṣalawāt) — as is praised in a ḥadīth of the Nabī ﷺ. It gives you much time to spend time contemplating on the meanings of what is being said… — I sincerely advise everyone to try to meet the shaykh — he teaches at Masjid Muqbil in London. I’ve met and spent much time with many famous “students of knowledge” in the west. From them: — ʿImrān ibn Manṣūr (aka. DawahMan) — Yasīn Munye — Abū Taymiyyah — Abū Khadījah — Zulfiker Memon [هداهم الله] Yet Abū ʿAṭīyah was the first student I met where I truly felt the fruits of knowledge shining from him. There is no comparison between them. I can say a lot, but I simply advise you to meet him and see for yourself. May Allāh preserve him.
