🙌 Meet Athlospine AI: the movement lab athletes carry in a pocket Measuring how an athlete moves used to mean a room full of equipment: markers on the body, cameras around the walls, a specialist interpreting the output. Outside that room, it came down to the eyeball test. Someone watches you move and forms an opinion. 📱 The same assessment, from a phone Athlospine AI is being developed to bring guided movement assessment to a regular smartphone. In a few minutes, with no sensors, suits or extra equipment, the app captures movement data that can support a specialist's assessment. ➖ A few minutes, one phone ➖ Repeatable guided assessments, so changes over time can be tracked ➖ The specialist makes every clinical call - the tool is designed to help them see more 💪 Built around the sport, not a template Most movement apps start with a generic routine. Athlospine AI is designed around the athlete's sport, movement profile, training context and goals. That is what makes the reach unusual: the same app fits a high-performance program and someone training alone on weekends. All they need is a smartphone. What changes is the guidance. 🔬 Who is behind it A sports medicine physician with more than 23 years of experience, working alongside a team of engineers. Work with elite athletes across several sports shapes the thinking behind the product. The app is in development. Early movement data has been collected with elite athletes in biathlon, gymnastics and track and field.
