It’s the ideal time to say NO to a lot of things that might look appealing at first glance. Say - - No to simulators/ mocks - No to marathon videos - No to last minute compilations - No to random groups for solving PYQs in random order( solve them as per your own static revisions) - No to last minute strategy changes on advice of xyz topper - No to tricks and tips videos - No to social media and doom scrolling reels and shorts - No to new experiments. Nothing new should be tried in examination hall unless you have experimented with it earlier. You have studied hard. Have faith in your abilities. Practice PYQs from UPSC and ancillary examinations ONLY. Revise static. Also set aside some wind down time daily to relax properly.

We hope you're spending more time with PYQs than you are with your boyfriend/ girlfriend(s). For those who are single, it’s time to get into a serious relationship with PYQs.

Thematic: Ample dimensions will be covered per theme. Even if you only have a broad idea about an outlier topic in the Mains paper, you will still be able to break down the question into relevant themes and write a decent answer. Contextual Integration: Relevant constitutional provisions, case studies, and CA are embedded at appropriate places to give you an edge—especially in introductions and conclusions. (e.g., using Art. 39(a) for employment or Art. 48 for agriculture questions). High-Yield Summaries: If time permits, we will also provide one-pagers for certain high-yield topics. We are still in the ideation phase. If you have an idea that can genuinely enhance the platform, feel free to reach out to the admins. Thanks! 2/2

We are preparing PYQ solutions along these lines. Salient Features: Keyword Focus: We have all seen bulky coaching Mains notes that are not well-suited for the exam. In Mains, there is always a dearth of time, and such bulky content rarely helps. We believe the focus must be on quality combined with speed. Keyword-focused notes allow you to provide maximum value in minimum words, ensuring ample coverage of all dimensions while producing a well-rounded answer. 1/2

The mains is where this exam is actually decided – and it demands a completely different kind of preparation. It's not about what you know. It's about how well you can think through a question, structure your response, and present your understanding in a way that the examiner finds compelling. Clearing mains can be broken down into 3 essential skills: 1. Demand deconstruction: how to break the question, how to address subparts of the question, adding one dimension extra and also addressing the implicit demand 2. Content and value addition: Adding current affairs in the intro and proper value addition can help get those 1/2 marks that will accumulate over 20 questions to give you a decisive advantage. 3. Speed and paper completion : above 2 are useless - if you can't complete your paper. Dynamic paper management is essential - solving first 5 questions in an excellent fashion, choosing candidate questions to butcher in case time goes up, filling up space with diagrams to give impression of completion to the examiner – this third pillar involves lot of such minute enhancements. Around these 3 pillars, we are building the Mains Playground. In my 3 attempts, I was able to clear mains 2/2 times with 400+ in GS both times. One of our volunteer moderators has scored 820+ in mains, scoring 130s in essay 2 times. Apart from our own experience, we're also sitting down with candidates who have cleared Mains with some of the best scores in recent attempts. They'll talk about what their preparation looked like, what worked, and what they'd do differently – the kind of insight you rarely get from a textbook. Mains is all about specialised preparation – and we hope Mains Playground can make this arduous journey easier and enjoyable.

This is a mockup of how the CA bulletin will look like. Each current affair in the bulletin is mapped to its syllabus area, linked to past questions that have examined the same theme, and tagged by where it fits in an answer – introduction, data point, example, or conclusion.

We are still looking into some legal issues - but it should be fine mostly

If you have time, kindly attempt Geoscientist prelims papers (General Studies) as a mock. Very very high relevance for UPSC CSE prelims - especially for Geo, Env, Polity, History and CA sections. We are also onboarding these PYQs onto the upsc analytics.
