✨ 20 things I've learnt in my 19s, now that I'm 20.✨
1. Prioritising family. People may come and go, but family. 2. እግዚአብሔር ይሰማል! Prayer is talking to Him honestly. He listens and never forgets. 3. Some people are temporary, and that's okay. Some people enter our lives for a season, teach us something, and leave. Not every connection is meant to last forever. 4. Not taking special people for granted. I want to give the people who matter enough time and love. One flaw or mistake shouldn't define their entire identity. 5. Not being too quick to judge others. I don't know what someone is carrying, what led them to act that way, or what their relationship with God looks like. I can always ask myself, "What if I were in their shoes?" 6. Not everyone deserves to know everything about me. Different relationships, different boundaries. 7. My life is too short to spend it obsessing over others. If I don't live my life, who will? If I don't accept and love myself, who else will? 8. Learning to be my own cheerleader. Instead of constantly waiting for others to appreciate, encourage, or be proud of me, doing it myself. 9. It's okay to be imperfect. It's okay to feel sad, fail, be alone, and have weaknesses. Accepting my imperfections doesn't mean giving up on improving; it means stopping the blame and starting the work. Some changes take time, and that's okay. 10. Giving is for my own sake. 11. Loving others.🥰 “ትንቢትም ቢኖረኝ ምሥጢርንም ሁሉና እውቀትን ሁሉ ባውቅ፥ ተራሮችንም እስካፈልስ ድረስ እምነት ሁሉ ቢኖረኝ ፍቅር ግን ከሌለኝ ከንቱ ነኝ።” — 1ኛ ቆሮንቶስ 13፥2 12. Looking for the bright side. Even when something goes wrong, I try to look for the good in it. I believe that if it weren't for a mutation error 😁, things would have been good. 😂 13. Instead of constantly grumbling when things change, I can adapt, look for solutions, and improve what I can. Life doesn't always have to feel comfortable. 14. Opportunity cost. Every choice means giving up another possibility. Life is like an exam: I have to learn and choose the best answer. 15. Who I'm today is shaped by what I've experienced. So does the future, shaped by what I'm experiencing today. 16. Life isn't a place where I can eventually say, "I've succeeded, and there's nothing left to learn." I'm still learning and under construction. And that's okay. 17. Keep trying. Even if I'm not on the right path yet, I may never discover the right one if I stop moving. 18. Just doing the thing is the only hack. 19. If someone else could make it, there is no reason that I couldn't. 20. That I turned 20. 👀😭እግዚአብሔር ይመስገን!😊🤍 @the_dual_journey
People see what you see in yourself. If you don't believe in your confidence, respect yourself, or see the goods in yourself, neither will they. #Randomthoughts @the_dual_journey

The exam was good, but the result😕. I would have had a heart attack if the invigilators hadn't told us immediately after the exam that there was a system error 😁.
Anyway GN, may your nights be as Jacob's🤍. Will start locking in the other day.

So, I studied for 15 hrs total, yesterday and today. But mind you, I've only covered 89 slides and still 211 slides are waiting for me😭.
Actually, the remaining topics are not that deep as the earlier ones.
But the thing is, I've got an exam tmrw😁. I don't wanna be cooked, so I'm gonna sleep😜.

Be me recapping my summer now 😁 meskerem rasu liyalk new eko🤭 ay actually our 90-day challenge recently maleku slehone new.
I was watching this post 👆 I made here before it started. I forgot I said it gn germognal.
hmmm... 🤔
I didn't follow exactly what I planned and didn't succeeded at everything. But I wanted the summer to be different from the previous ones and it was.
1. Starting with what I was learning...
I didn't give it as much effort or time as I should have. From the 13-week plan I only completed 8 weeks, but it could've been done with in less time😭. It took me long learning the foundations: maths foundations like linear algebra, calculus; data libraries like NumPy, Pandas, PIL, OpenCv, Matplotlib; neural networks and CNNs from Coursera; PyTorch, through YT Courses, small projects, and websites.
But besides these, honestly I was confused about the plan itself. I wanted to build a small project related to image steganography, something like deep visual encoding and decoding, so I started learning what I thought I needed for it. But sometimes I kept wondering if I was learning the right way, and using the right resources. And was in the cycle of stop → continue → get confused → stop → continue. 😭
Currently, I’ve paused it till I adapt the med classes, but definitely will continue from the project. So… not exactly what I planned. But still in progress. 2. And there was the second part... Let’s set aside the resilience and discipline part for a moment 😭, but mindset-wise something shifted in me.In away I didn't know I can say I became someone I didn't know I could become. After passing all mental struggles, self-doubt, even identity crisis and questions of worthiness, during that pagume detachment time, God taught me things I needed to learn. Discovered most of my weaknesses, started accepting, understanding, and working on them. SELF DISCOVERY. 3. Besides all these > built a simple website for a friend > learnt a lot from the bot I built for the challenge, credit to the bugs 😁 > managed to be consistent in reading, wede mecheresha akababi lay > posted 2 writings in Substack > fixed my screentime > spent so much time with myself But one thing this summer taught me most is the worthiness of consistency itself. When you lose your flow, when you sit in an ocean of confusion, when you have to start again and again, you realize how valuable it actually is to keep going. And that's what I need now😭... Consistency. I won't stop trying and getting up again and again when I fall. Thank y'all for being here and to those of you who were part of the challenge🤍. Thank you for giving your time to read this mess🙄 too.😊 #summerrecap @the_dual_journey
Notes taken from Eyob's interview:
> We won't figure things out overnight. We should take small opportunities and take risks, then gradually understand enadergalen.
> ግቢ is the best time we have. እያደግን ስንሄድ በዛው ልክ our responsibilities ይበዛሉ; we can't get up to start learning by then.
> Instead of comparing ourselves, if we give enough time and dedication, we can see real changes. So it's better to focus on ourselves and work on ourselves.
> Building a system ... for consistency.
> We are not supposed to balance everything. Choosing and prioritising matters.
> Connection building... በደንብ ራስ ላይ ሰርቶ ራስን sell ማድረግ or by being outgoing and reaching out to people.
Lastly, he said,
"We should reach to the point of correcting AI when it gets wrong rather than being dependent on vibecoding."@the_dual_journey
