“my dreams are low, they're sick and must be addressed, they're young girl's dreams. true some do it and shoot, like the penny-lit stars, what I was just rude, like the scary hairs on our singing hoof, like the scary hairs on our singing hooves, they move, a family fool, but it's you, I can swoon inside me, then you'll accept my things, a coloured star, but I feel strong, luck when bound lonely to lars, when I'm empty headed, see and saw bounce me back to you, will you? see and saw bounce me back to you, will you? will you? my dreams are low, they're sick and must be addressed, they're young girl's dreams. see and saw bounce me back to you, will you? see and saw bounce me back to you, will you? will you? see and saw bounce me back to you, see and saw bounce me back to you, see and saw bounce me back to you, will you? see and saw bounce me back to you, see and saw bounce me back to you, see and saw bounce me back to you, will you?”

“now that it's time, now that the hour hand has landed at the end, now that it's real, now that the dreams have given all they had to lend, I want to know, do I stay or do I go? and maybe try another time, and do I really have a hand in my forgetting? now that I've tried, now that I've finally found that this is not the way, now that I turn, now that I feel it's time to spend the night away, I want to know, do I stay or do I go? and maybe finally split the rhyme, and do I really understand the undernetting? yes, and the morning has me looking in your eyes, and seeing mine, warning me to read the signs carefully, now that it's light, now that the candle's falling smaller in my mind, now that it's here, now that I'm almost not so very far behind, I want to know, do I stay or do I go? and maybe follow another sign, and do I really have a song that I can ride on? now that I can, now that it's easy, ever easy all around, now that I'm here, now that I'm falling to the sun-lights, and a song, I want to know, do I stay or do I go? and do I have to do just one, and can I choose again if I should lose the reason? yes, and the morning has me looking in your eyes, and seeing mine, warning me to read the signs more carefully, now that I smile, now that I'm laughing even deeper inside, now that I see, now that I finally found the one thing I denied, it's now I know, do I stay or do I go? and it is finally I decide, that I'll be leaving in the fairest of the seasons.”

“sometimes I wonder if you were the one, when you opened the door, cracked me wide open, something about it doesn't sit right with me, and how could it be? when I walk away, it always comes in threes, we don't get on, can't make you laugh, personality, but I don't invest the way I'd prefer, someone to in me, I really hate to admit it, I put my pride on the line, 'cause when I met you, I knew it, I'd thank you for your time, I'd thank you for your time, thank you for the time, sometimes I want somebody to see me, how you opened my doors and left them wide open, why doesn't this happen more naturally? if I tried, maybe, when you're lonely, you'll just do anything to drink it all up, the feeling, it's the memory, that's when it all aligns, I can really see what you meant to me, I really hate to admit it, I put my pride on the line, 'cause when I met you, I knew it, I'd thank you for your time, I'd thank you for your time, thank you for the time, all because of you, all because of you, I really hate to admit it, I put my pride on the line, 'cause when I met you, I knew it, I'd thank you for your time, I'd thank you for your time, thank you for the time.”

I can no longer live inside a life that seems to have been written for me before I ever had the chance to choose it. I want to leave the noise behind—the voices, the expectations, the familiar rooms—and disappear into a silence that belongs only to me. Not because I have stopped loving anyone, but because I have spent so long listening to everyone else that I can no longer hear myself. I want to know who remains when the doors close, when the voices fade, when there is no one left beside me but my own reflection.
