AFU cannot get tied down here in the most dire situation because on the southern flank, Russian forces have infiltrated and are flanking the towns southwestern outskirts to double the pressure from to angles. AFU cannot spare much time and resources to clear out the infiltrators because they'll soon understand that this is a lose lose situation or a Phyrric victory at the most

Ukrainian emergency counterattacks are underway in Dobropillya. Ukrainian assault groups are attempting to clear out Russian infiltrators in the northeastern and eastern parts of the city, and unblock key logistical routes that currently cannot be used due to the current situation. The success depend on if the numbers of Russian infiltrators are low enough, if there are still sufficient drone operators (recon + strike) to kill Russian soldiers before they can reach the city (especially near Hannivka), and if logistics down the highway through Svyatohorivka are still functional enough. However, the same cannot be said for the areas south and northeast of Dobropillya, where Russian forces continue to advance and slowly clear out Ukrainian holdouts. Even if Ukraine is able to clear the entirety of Dobropillya and Hannivka, they will not be able to return to the same frontline configuration we saw a couple of months ago, and eventually Russia will be able to form solid flanks west and northeast of the city. However a little further south towards the village of Dibrova, Ukrainian forces have conducted deeper flanking infiltrations into the forest patches which has seen some limited success although with the front being held to a standstill due to drone dominance, I cannot see the infiltrations make it too far in to cause any remote issues for Russian forces northwards.
