⚡️رِجَالٌ لَا تُلْهِيهِمْ تِجَارَةٌ وَلَا بَيْعٌ عَن ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ⚡️
“Men whom neither commerce nor trade distracts from the remembrance of Allah.”
[An-Nūr, 24:37]
❖ Al hamduliLlah, Allah has opened for many of us the doors of Tijara and provision after years of hardship, displacement, and difficulty. Today, we are able to work, build, and provide for our families.
This is a blessing from Allah, but every blessing is also a test.
🤯 To those among us who now run businesses : circumstances change, and every stage comes with its own means and responsibilities. We must adapt to our present circumstances without allowing that adaptation to alter our ʿaqīdah, our foundations, our values, or our commitment to the commands of Allah.
🎯 We each work to provide for our families, but our actions do not stop with us as individuals. Each of us, in his or her own capacity, carries a part of the image of the Muhājirūn. Through our businesses, and actions, let us preserve the image of those who sought to live by the commands of Allah and uphold them despite changing circumstances.
🤲 May Allah place barakah in our businesses, grant us halal provision, and make the opportunities He has opened for us a means of drawing closer to Him rather than drifting away from Him.
