📜 How it works Participants are split into small groups and handed a real economic/political question to work through together first. They have time to research the topic and set out their arguments. Then, each group divides into pairs after choosing their side (agree or disagree). Quarterfinals.

Multiple pairs argue at once, each table judged separately, and the strongest team/pair wins from each group.

Final

The Final brings the last two participants together for a one on one argument in front of the entire room, judged live.

Losing a round doesn't mean to be just a spectator. Every eliminated participant becomes part of the debate by the end. They will be given a red card and a green card; they listen closely to the tables still competing and flag what they hear: red for a claim that doesn't hold up, green for one that's genuinely strong. Between rounds, the event managers pick out the sharpest catch and give points to that participant. Eventually, they will also be nominated for the strongest counterarguments. 📣 We will expect you at the first run of the Case Lab. We try to make a good experience for each participant.

📣 "The four-day work week should become the labor standard." You got five minutes. Defend it. 60% will talk loud and call that an argument. 20% will build first bricks but crumble after first pushback. 15% will have a brick house that survives long. 5% will have a skyscraper.

Want to know which group you belong to?

We will give you the stage, audience, and recognition. But we expect you to actually show up with something. Fifteen to twenty minutes for group research, no doomscrolling, no checking of Telegram updates. Just you and whatever ideas you can come up with. 📩 Every point you make gets logged and scored live, then posted on your profile on the website after the event.
