https://counter-currents.com/2019/05/fash-morrissey/
Here is an article from Counter Currents regarding Morrissey from 2019, this is start of a series of articles regarding the former The Smiths frontman. Morrissey is a bit of a folk hero to the dissident right and this article makes the argument why that is.
Personally, I have been listening to Morrissey/The Smiths since I was in high school (at the time of this post I am 42 years old) so it was a breath of fresh air witnessing an artist from my formative years aligning, at least somewhat, to my worldview as opposed to many artists from my formative years who have gone woke or at least are willing to pay lip service to that ideology.

Dolly Parton did some amazing things in her life. She was an incredibly prolific songwriter, singer, and guitar player who was always proud of her southern roots.
She came up with Imagination Library because her father was illiterate. All children 4 and under who are signed up get a free book every month and my daughter and I have been super grateful for this. Though some of the books are a bit woke, many of them are not. Reading with my daughter is one of our favorite things to do together, creating memories I will cherish always.
Dolly was a legend and I hope she rests easy. 💕
No matter how you feel about Charlottesville, there was definitely a unity that occurred around that time that I am not seeing much of today.

NEW EPISODE — The Outlander — Why Do We Love Sad Songs?
https://www.hearthfireradio.com/watch?v=qJpfSfSr
It seems strange that we would love something that makes us afraid, and yet we love horror films. Equally strange that we would love art that makes us sad, and yet we do. The Germanic has a grimness in his character that attracts him to this sort of thing. In this episode, Mike dives under the surface to reveal a whole world beneath our folk character.

Arguably, her best project. Goth influenced for sure but, much like Sun Vessel, she is making Neo-folk great again, even if it may not be entirely intentional. Definitely a project to keep an eye on.
