Several attempts have already been made to resolve these issues with the competent Croatian authorities. However, the Croatian side repeatedly emphasized that the resolution of these sectors is difficult… There are also Jews in various important positions who, because of their good connections to leading personalities or because of their work for certain state organizations (for example, the case of the Jew Alexander Klein, who handled purchases in Hungary and Italy for the Ustaša headquarters)… Difficulties in the final resolution of the Jewish question in Croatia are also caused by the fact that the Croatian leadership is heavily interrelated with Jews.
