General Assembly

of the Charity and Voluntary Club at Jimma University. We shared our progress, exchanged ideas, and strengthened our unity. Even though some members were absent due to different programs and reasons, the meeting was productive and full of positive energy.

📢 CALL FOR GENERAL ASSEMBLY MEETING – CHARITY & VOLUNTARY CLUB, JIMMA UNIVERSITY Dear Members, We are pleased to announce that the first General Assembly Meeting of the Charity and Voluntary Club at Jimma University will be held on the coming Saturday at 8:00 AM local time. This meeting marks a historic step for our club, as it is our first official gathering of all members since establishment. The purpose of this meeting is to: -Officially bring all members together -Share the progress and achievements of the club from establishment to the present -Discuss future plans and programs -Provide a platform for members to ask questions, give suggestions, and provide feedback As a club dedicated to charity and voluntary service, we are committed to creating positive social impact in our university and the wider community. This meeting is an important opportunity for all members to understand their roles, responsibilities, and the vision of the club. Meeting Details: Date: Coming Saturday Time: 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM (sharp) Venue: Social Hall (under  College of Social science Building) Agenda: 1. Welcoming and program opening – 5 minutes 2. Progress report (from establishment to present) – 15–20 minutes. 3. Break(snack) – 5 minutes 4. Questions, suggestions, and comments from members – 15 minutes. 5. Closing remarks – 5 minutes Important Notes: -Punctuality is crucial. The meeting will start exactly at 8:00 and end exactly at 9:00. -All programs must be conducted within the one-hour time frame. -Every member’s participation is essential to ensure a successful meeting. Let us come together to strengthen our commitment to charity, voluntary service, and community impact. Your attendance and active involvement are highly valued. One of our staff members, who is also a Master's , generously donated three pairs of shoes to our Charity Club so that we could distribute them to people in need. After carefully identifying the recipients, we gave two pairs to students with disabilities. The remaining pair, as it was quite large and not suitable for a student, was given to another individual who was in urgent need. May Allah bless and increase people like him who extend their support to those in need. Thank you.

Yesterday, we held a meeting for our Charity Club with the executive members. During the meeting, we reflected on what we achieved last semester and discussed what we plan to accomplish this semester. We also honestly talked about our strengths and the areas where we need improvement. Last semester, we were able to distribute 25 blankets to people experiencing homelessness, and we also organized a program to provide food for those living on the streets. Moreover, we got one Pc and 1 printer as a recognition from ECS organization. These achievements reminded us of the real impact we can make when we work together. For this semester, we have planned even better initiatives. With the continuous support of our members and the commitment of the executives, we are determined to work together without losing motivation. We will improve our weaknesses and build on our strengths to make our club stronger and more impactful.!🔥🔥🔥
