Call me Geniya/Gen I guess? (They/She/He with a preference for They) You might not like everything I say & I don't care. I draw stuff, for fandoms & OCs. Whatever.... I put TWs when they're needed. Unknown:https://t.me/harfmanrobot?start=1392757513

چندتا آرت فور بزنم بعد لالا

یکی از انیمه هایی که چند ماه پیش دیدم Shiki بود. بنظرم باید زودتر می دیدمش. از نظرم انیمه جالبی بود و دیالوگ های جالبی هم داشت. (از اون دسته که بنظرم باید نشت راجب مفهومش فکر کرد)

Basically it boils down to: 1) some words have meanings and the meaning is important. It can't be changed (here it's heteronormative) 2) people don't like a ship and they try to find a way to make others stop shipping 3) people ship that ship, but with different dynamics and don't like it when people play with these dolls (aka characters) in a way they don't like and they make it other people's problem

Here I'm talking about why I have a problem with people calling queer ships heteronormative (read it or don't):
There's nothing heteronormative about queer ships btw. Least of all two men in love. Calling queer ships heteronormative is queerphobic itself. "Oh but femininity that, masculinity that, tall this, short that etc.". The words you're looking for is "popular trope". (feminine & masculine couples actually exist, so do other couples with different dynamics. But here we're talking about fiction.) The other half of this arguments falls into "author is writing a kink that I don't like" and the solution is to not read it. Easy I would assume. I see many use this word but I don't think they know it doesn't mean what they think it means. Check the dictionary. Heteronormative demands that men never be feminine for example. Heteronormative never applies to queer ships. Because being queer is as far as you can get from heteronormativity, as It puts certain traditional expectations & rules on men and women. It also gets extra embarrassing when one side of a ship is being vulnerable and the other is being supportive and people call that heteronormative.  That's relationship goals omfg. (And idc if a ship is m/f , if one character is queer it's still not heteronormative. And and and! If in m/f cis-het ship characters aren't pushed to traditional rules it's still not heteronormative.) (Also there's a difference between "author is writing a kink" & "author thinks men and women have to be in certain rules, men never can be feminine and women can never be masculine etc". Thses are different writings.)

I really want to talk about something
