❗️🇲🇦🇪🇺 The European Union has officially shifted its stance to support the Moroccan Autonomy Plan for Western Sahara. While the EU has historically maintained a vague or "neutral" position, the recent adoption of UN Security Council Resolution 2797 (2025) which recognizes the plan as a serious and credible basis for negotiation has prompted the bloc to align its policy.
This development is expected to have a significant geopolitical influence across the North African region.

Libya’s rival legislative bodies have approved a unified state budget for the first time in more than a decade, in a rare moment of cooperation in a country fractured by years of civil war
Libya has remained split since the 2014 civil war, which created rival administrations in the east and west. The last time the country operated under a single national budget was in 2013.

❗️🇲🇦🇺🇸 Morocco will host the first U.S. regional drone training center in Africa, according to an announcement by General Christopher Donahue, commander of U.S. Army Europe and Africa (USAREUR-AF). The project will begin with a pilot phase during the African Lion 2026 exercise, scheduled from April 20 to May 8 in the kingdom. The U.S. military and several African armed forces will jointly conduct the exercise.
Moroccan Royal Airforce already operates, approximately 300 small to large drones since 1982, making it the ideal country to host such a hub.

🇪🇭⚡️🇲🇦 The Polisario Front recently conducted a military parade, dubbed a "Hell March," showcasing its current military strength. The display highlighted the group’s heavy reliance on aging Soviet-era hardware and unconventional "technicals" as it struggles to maintain a credible deterrent against modern Moroccan defenses.
The Hardware: A Legacy of the Cold War
The equipment displayed consists primarily of decades-old platforms, largely sourced from former Libyan stockpiles or older Algerian donations:
Main Battle Tanks: Soviet-era T-62 tanks, the group's heaviest ground asset.
Armored Personnel: BTR-60 and BRDM-2 vehicles. Several BRDMs have been field-modified to carry Strela surface-to-air missiles.
Artillery & Rockets: * 122 mm howitzer 2A18 (D-30): Classic Soviet towed artillery, providing the group's primary heavy fire support.
Grad Systems: Standard truck-mounted launchers and Toyota technicals fitted with Grad tubes for rapid "shoot-and-scoot" operations.

🇩🇿⚡️🇲🇦 Recent sattelite imagery indicates the Algerian People's National Army is rapidly building underground bunkers and hangars near the Moroccan border. This marks a significant pivot from traditional surface-level deployments maintained since the past century, Algiers is responding to the rapid modernization of the Royal Moroccan Armed Forces, specifically the acquisition of:
Long-Range Artillery: Deployment of Chinese PHL-03 and Israeli PULSE rocket launchers, plus the pending delivery of 18 HIMARS units from the USA, and the purchase of Israeli suicide drones.
Precision Munitions: Morocco has moved from traditional air power to acquiring advanced cruise missiles and guided munitions from France, Israel, Pakistan, and the USA.
Also Algeria seeks to ensure force survivability against a potential first strike. These hangars are designed to protect high-value equipment from drone swarms and long-range GPS-guided strikes, attempting to restore a strategic stalemate in the Maghreb.

🇲🇦⚡️🇩🇿 Reports have raised concerns about the possibility that the Polisario Front, The
Algerian backed group, could blockade the Gibraltar straight.
Between 2020 and 2024 the group received rockets and drone technology from the IRGC.
So far, the Algerian state likely seeking to avoid direct confrontation with Western powers has not allowed Polisario to conduct hostile actions against NATO members. However the polisario already forced by the United States to accept the Moroccan autonomy plan could chose to defy Algerian orders and create a crisis for legitimacy.
In this case, the following locations can be targeted with specific Iranian supplied weapons.
Potential Targets:
• The Strait of Gibraltar
• The Rota Naval Base
• Military installations near Madrid, including Retamares
Means of Attack:
• Quds 2 cruise Missile range(1530km)
• Shaheed131/136 suicide drones, range(2500km)
