I think we should try a challenge: avoiding AI or at least avoiding “vibe coding” ASAP.
Not because AI is bad but because there’s a difference between using AI and letting it think for you.
Maybe a better middle ground is using AI outside the IDE and when you do use it you actually understand and rewrite the code instead of just copy pasting..so you still know your codebase not just generate it.
I know this only makes sense for a while. Once we deeply understand our stacks, we can fully vibe code but as someone who still knows the system well, debugs fast, and handles things like a pro.
Just a thought.
