The Pacific Northwest (Oregon specifically) is far more superior than any state or region in the US when it comes to the outdoors. I plan to document my adventures again here in my state. It will just be Oregon, possibly parts of WA. I like to go fish and camp as well. Being raised in Oregon I took advantage of the countless locations here and vlogged since the late 90s, early 2000s to now. I had a large following for my photos on ig (lost the acc) and tumblr when tumblr was relevant, but I’ll revisit my favorite spots here in Oregon and post. And the days of AI I’ll be sure to show the camera/phone I use along with videos. I’m sure y’all know about Oregon being pretty liberal .. wrong, the state is basically red minus the Portland metro area, and the two biggest college towns - Corvallis and Eugene that ruin the reputation of my state. There’s still a heavy KKK presence and if y’all don’t know the history of that then read about it. At one point as many as 60% of Portland police officers were Klansmen. Portland became the headquarters of the Oregon KKK. Fred L. Gifford, Oregon’s Grand Dragon, operated the state organization from Portland, and it became a powerful political machine. Portland, Oregon had the largest KKK chapter west of the Mississippi River. The irony that Portland is now known to be the wokest city. Real Oregonians have had enough, and it’s seen through the numerous Facebook groups addressing the frustration, local news, and just talking to people here. Things changed around 2009 and due to how close we are to Los Angeles we had and still continue to take in stupid California transplants. Seattle has fallen as well, unfortunately. But one thing that remains is the natural beauty of my state. With thousands of locations to visit.
