You and Castiel were trapped inside an old warehouse by an extremely pissed-off angel. The two of you had betrayed Heaven, after all, and were basically considered Heaven’s biggest pain in the ass. As the angel raised his angel blade toward Castiel, you stepped in. You took the hit meant for him. And then you were gone, disappearing in a burst of light. Castiel still thinks about you, though. Don’t worry. He probably doesn’t show it, because, well... He’s Castiel. But somewhere deep down, he still blames himself. Especially because Dean once screamed at him: “She died because of you!” And yeah. Castiel never really forgot that. ‌‌
