I attended a movie event today, and it was such a great experience. I’m not really a movie person and this is actually my first one this year. When it comes to spiritual movies, my laziness is even worse. But this one, Man of God, was truly amazing. It’s based on a true story. Some of you might have already seen it, but I hadn’t and I strongly recommend it. I won’t spoil anything, just go watch it and enjoy. Today, it really made me reflect on how deeply a person can love God, and how someone can dedicate their whole life to serving Him. It showed what it means to truly live a spiritual life and practice Christianity the way the Bible teaches to be a good and faithful servant. It also connected beautifully with our church teachings, especially the 6th Sunday of the Great Lent. Saint Nektarios truly lived as a good and faithful servant. Reflections on the Project During our inter-semester break, I attended a training on basic Arduino and SolidWorks. After finishing the training, the project idea, including the design and documentation, was given to us by our mentors, and we were asked to customize it and implement it in our own ways. The title of the project was “Automated Syringe Pump.” It is used in many medical applications, such as in ICU rooms, where patients need to receive medicinal fluids through a syringe. In the manual system, the syringe is pushed manually. This project aims to automate that process by using a microcontroller and a stepper motor. The system can pump the syringe with a preset amount and time, ensuring consistency and reducing fluctuations. My part in the project was the Arduino setup and coding. It was not very difficult since there are many helpful resources available on the internet. The SolidWorks design was completed by my friend. From the presentation, I realized how challenging it is to present an entire project in just 10 slides and 10 minutes. Even if you fully understand the idea and the process, you must still prepare well for the presentation. You should never underestimate presentations they have the same value as the work itself. Therefore, being well prepared is one of the most important factors. Hopefully, the project will be 3D printed, since we have 3D printers available in our design studio. In the future, I also plan to come up with my own projects with the Help of God. Glory to God Amen! @Sewyishalist
