For my new members, I m doing 100days challenge ena it’s week day only( I had commitment for weekend when I started) Now I m official “Sera Fet” so I will be doing weekend too

I want this summer to be different Like few weeks ago , I was talking with @codeandcoffee1 about summer and she told me I will no longer have summer break after I graduated Since then It been on my mind. I literally have 2 summers this and next one I don’t remember a month I spent without stressing and busying my self with things since I joined university ,even the summer . 1st year break it was INSA summer camp and SAT preparation , 2nd year break 10 academy course , learning flutter and building projects To be honest I love doing stuff , learning … I enjoy it. The problem is : I stress a lot like 24/7 I might be having fun next to u but I m stressed inside ( unless I መነጫነጭ my friends even don’t notice ) But I know it degrades my performance like a lot ( even I stress about my stress 😂 ) One of the cause is the delusion “I have no time “😭 Bcha this summer I will be doing everything with love , slowly and not stressed ( it’s hard but I will try my best) And I will be doing things I want to do in life but I failed to do consistently ( like reading spiritual books) Also will be enjoying my unemployment era 😌 With help of God this summer break will be better summer 🙂 #bettersummer

I built Lacon, a huffman coding based text file compression tool. I used Go to build it and it taught me a lot of things and made me see some of the theoretical concepts I knew in practice. Compression is an amazing concept to learn in practice. It made me appreciate the cleverness of the people that come up with algorithms that solve very specific problems in a very efficient way. Huffman coding has a few basic steps. It scans the file, counts the frequency of each character in the file, and assigns shorter binary codes for the most frequent ones and longer codes to the least frequent ones. Compared to giving the same 8-bit length representation for all characters in a file, this results in a significantly lower file size. The significance of the compression totally depends on the distribution of characters in the text file. While building this tool I used: - Min-heaps to efficiently build the Huffman tree which is a special binary tree which has the most frequent characters at a shallower depth than the rarer ones. - Binary trees to generate prefix codes that would be decoded unambiguously. - Bit level I/O to read and write individual bits when compressing and decompressing which was admottedly the most challenging part for me. I have also built a CLI and a web interface so that it is easy to access it and try it out (https://lacon-jet.vercel.app/).
