You were never found. The river was searched for weeks. Nothing. No footprints. No belongings. No body. Years later, the fisherman who last saw you returned to the riverbank. He was old by then. The river had completely changed its course. The place where you disappeared was dry. He stood there for several minutes. Then he heard water. Behind him. There was no river. But the sound was getting closer. When he turned around— the ground was covered in wet flowers. Leading toward the forest. The fisherman followed them. He never came back. Search teams found the flowers the next morning. They followed them to the exact place where you disappeared. And there— they found two pairs of footprints leading into the empty riverbed.
