FASCIST PARTY

"Fascism is not a church, but rather a forum. It is not a party, it is a movement. It does not have a utopian program for the year 2000, for the simple reason that Fascism builds the edifice of its will and passion day by day." — Benito Mussolini

"It is blood that sets the wheel of history in motion." — Benito Mussolini

"In the Fascist State, art takes on a social function: an educational function. It must translate the ethics of our time. It must bring unity of style and grandeur of lines to common life. Art will thus return to being what it was in its highest periods and within the highest civilizations: a perfect instrument of spiritual governance." – Mario Sironi, published and unpublished writings

"I am from the land of trees and forests, of oaks and wild boars, of vineyards and sloping roofs, of epics and fairy tales, of the winter solstice and summer Saint John." – Gerardo Dottori, The Iron Head (1935)
