as I've grown older, I've learned that knowing your worth is not about trusting you're better than others. it's about understanding what you deserve, protecting your peace, and choosing people who value your presence as much as you value theirs. one life lesson i hold close to my heart is that not everything meant for us will stay forever, and not everything that leaves is a loss. sometimes people, experiences, and even hardships come into our lives to teach us something before they become a memory.

lately I've been learning to trust what's meant for me will find its way to me, and what passes me by was never truly mine to keep. ♡ #5DaysWithin ♥️📜🖇

looking back, i realized that some of the most precious parts of my girlhood were the ordinary days i shared with her, the comfort of simply knowing she was there. at the time, they felt like every day moments. now, they have become memories i hold close to my heart. although she's no longer here, i often find myself carrying her with me. and in the strength i try to have when life becomes difficult, losing her changed me, but loving her shaped me even more.

and if i could thank a younger version of myself, i would thank the little girl who kept going. the one who learned to be strong, even when she didn't want to be. the one who carried grief, love, hope and memories all at once, yet still chose to move forward. sometimes i wish i could tell her that everything she feels is valid. that one day, she will learn how to live with both the loss and the love. and that the people we miss never truly leave us—they remain in our hearts, in our memories, and in the person we continue to become. today, i carry my mother's love with me, and i carry that younger version of myself with gratitude. ♥️
