First of all, this book should have been the first book of the series, not the second! If you want to read the series, do yourself this favor and thank me later. I would have enjoyed the first book much more if it had come after this one, because it provides better background information about Jax and his life.
As much as I loved the characters and could relate to them in different areas, it would have been much better if we had seen a little more of their interactions back in their childhood. I have to say, I think Marcus was an a**hole, but RIP, sweet bro; you didn't deserve it.
I wasn't convinced by Lucas's excuse to leave Piper, but I can understand that he was young; maybe if he had told her back then that the break-up was permanent. Anyway, I know Lucas is a sweet boy and I love him, but I think Piper should have punished him or something.
I'm not going to say more. Read and enjoy.

Sidney has strict hookup rules, but they crumble after one kiss with the protective hockey player, Jax. Sidney needs a high score to secure her dream internship, and Jax is her only chance to get it. Jax wants a shot with her, so they make a bet.
It is very similar to The Deal by Elle Kennedy and Collide by Bal Khabra, and that wasn't a bad thing. I really liked it and enjoyed reading it.
The characters were okay, but I had a little problem with the plot. Sidney seemed to be blowing hot and cold every single minute. Oh, and let's not forget: the prize for the best a**hole in the book goes to Sidney's dad.
Jax is my baby; I love him so much. I have to say, at one point, he wins another bet with her and makes her call him by her last name!
I need to go smash things with Sidney.

جلد دوم از یه نظر فوقالعاده جلد آخر از یه نظر دیگه، در کل ارزش داره خوندنش.

That’s possible, right?
That’s not ridiculous.
Tragedy is a given. There is no version of human life that doesn’t involve reams of it.
The question is what we do in the face of it all.
