jfnjngjfnjg i genuinely zont think you realize how much joy this kind of thing brings me! i kept staring at it with the biggest grin because it feels like every tiny detail was placed with so much looovee LOVE. my favorite part is that it doesn't just look pretty, it has so much character. it feels playful, colorful, cozy, and a little whimsical all at once. i can tell yew had fun making it, and somehow that happiness made its way into the edit too. ‎ ‎ ‎ 𖣂 𝙼𝙸𝚁𝚁𝙾𝚁 𝙾𝙵 𝙴𝚁𝙸𝚂𝙴𝙳 🪞🔮🔮. . . / when i stand before the mirror of erised, i don't think it shows me wearing grand robes or holding trophies. instead, i see a witch with ink-stained fingers, muddy boots, and a journal that's become far too full to close. pressed between its pages are feathers from birds no one's managed to name, petals gathered from quiet corners of forests, sketches of magical creatures that many still insist aren't real, and little notes reminding me where each wonder first found me. she hasn't stopped asking questions. if anything, she has even more than before. i see someone who has wandered far beyond the grounds of hogwarts, following curious footprints through misty valleys, listening to old stories, and believing that every creature deserves to be understood before it's dismissed. some discoveries have found their way into the quibbler, while others remain safely tucked inside her notebooks, waiting for the day someone else is ready to believe them too.

the people standing beside her make me smile just as much as the adventures do. they're kind people, the sort who laugh with genuine delight, who stop to admire strange flowers, who don't rush to explain away impossible things simply because they haven't seen them themselves. i think life must feel wonderfully light when it's shared with people like that. she still visits hogwarts whenever she can. the astronomy tower still feels close enough to the stars, and the castle still hums with little mysteries tucked between its stone walls. every visit reminds her that there will always be another question waiting just around the corner. perhaps that's what i hope for most. not to know everything, but to never lose the part of me that delights in wondering. if i can spend my life discovering curious bits of magic, filling journals with impossible things, helping forgotten creatures find their place in the world, and reminding even one person that it's perfectly all right to see wonder where others don't, then i think the mirror has already shown me exactly who i was meant to become. i don't think my purpose is to prove that every impossible thing is real. perhaps it's simply to remind people that not everything real has been discovered yet. the world has never seemed smaller because there were mysteries in it; it has always seemed brighter. if my future self can help even a handful of people keep their hearts open to the wonderfully unexplained, then i think the mirror has reflected not only who i become, but why i was meant to become her.
