RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD. THURSDAY AUGUST 20 2026 AN IMPORTANT LESSON IN SOUL WINNING Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven (Matthew 5:16). Sometimes, when you tell people to win souls, their minds go straight to someone they already know, perhaps a neighbour, flatmate or roommate, a friend, co-worker or relative. The same person they’ve been witnessing to for years but hasn’t responded. So, whenever soul winning is mentioned, that’s where their thoughts go. While that may be okay, you need to understand something more about how soul winning works. Those closest to you often don’t need repeated persuasion. Your life already speaks to them. The Lord didn’t say keep talking until they see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Rather, He said let your light so shine, referring to your Christian conduct and character, your walk in the Word. These already communicate Christ to them. Therefore, don’t turn evangelism into endless arguments or repeated explanations with the same individuals. But more importantly, pray for them. Live the Word before them. Let your Christ-like life be the evidence. They’ll observe, reflect, and someday be ready to seek answers. At such a time, a simple explanation would be all they need. But as long as they keep resisting and arguing with you, reach out to other people. Don’t allow familiarity to limit your reach. There are many who haven’t heard, many who are ready, many beyond your immediate circle, who will receive the Gospel when you speak. Reach out to those ones. Share the Gospel with those who are open and willing. Sometimes, the adversary uses the same resistant individuals as a distraction, keeping you occupied while others who are ready remain unreached. Don’t fall into that trap. Be led by wisdom. Be intentional. Shine where you are, but go where the Spirit leads you. Prayer / Confession I’m guided by the wisdom of God to be effective in soul winning. My light shines everywhere, and those in my world see my Christ-life and glorify God. My life is a testimony of God’s truth, glory and righteousness, and through me, many are brought into salvation today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. His life, power, glory, wisdom, and grace are at work in every part of my being. I am filled with supernatural strength and divine ability. My life is beautiful, colourful, productive, and radiant with the glory of God! I rejoice because Jesus Christ has overcome the world for me! I am more than a conqueror, and I live in the victory He has secured for me. I refuse fear, worry, confusion, or uncertainty. I reign in life through Christ Jesus! Sickness, disease, and infirmity have no dominion over me. My body is God’s sanctuary, and I walk in divine health, strength, peace, and vitality every day. Christ is my wisdom, and the Word of God continually fills my heart with light and understanding through the Holy Spirit. I am strengthened with might in my inner man. I function with wisdom, excellence, dominion, and divine ability. My mind is flooded with the light of God’s Word, and I see pictures of life, health, success, abundance, and victory. The works of my hands are blessed, and I excel in everything I do! I am seated with Christ in heavenly places, far above every principality, power, might, dominion, and every name that is named. I know who I am: chosen, royal, peculiar, and exalted in Christ! I am not a victim; I am a victor. I am not subject to the limitations of this world because Christ is my life. His divine life is manifested through me, and I live from a position of victory, authority, and unending success. My heart is filled with joy unspeakable and full of glory! I refuse depression, oppression, fear, or anything that weighs me down. I flourish in God’s peace and rest. Gladness fills my spirit and causes my life to flourish. I walk in heavenly wisdom, divine health, supernatural prosperity, righteousness, and godliness. Every day, I experience ever-increasing glory, excellence, beauty, and grace. I walk in the light of my inheritance in Christ, living in wholeness, power, grace, and dominion. There is life, health, blessings, peace, prosperity, and success in my path. I am victorious. I am a success. I am a blessing to my world. I manifest the excellence and dominion of Christ everywhere I go. PROSPERITY CONVICTIONS I affirm  that the wisdom of God is at work in me illuminating my mind and unveiling hidden riches to me. I see, hear and know by the Spirit, which contracts to execute, which projects to pursue and business to invest in. The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places, Yes, I have a goodly heritage. My mind is open to receive ideas from God and to take advantage of opportunities presented by the Spirit of God for me to make wealth. As a faithful steward, God has entrusted me with all that  is required to advance the kingdom. I do not walk in confusion, there is no darkness in my finances because I have the light of life. ╔════════════════╗   RHAPSODY OF REALITIES    FOR EARLY READERS ╚════════════════╝ WEDNESDAY, 19TH AUGUST 2026 TRUST GOD, NOT OBJECTS Proverbs 3:5–6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. As God’s child, your faith should always be in God and His Word, not in objects. Some people think they need special things, such as handkerchiefs, water, or other items, to receive help from God. But the Bible teaches that our relationship with God is not built on objects. The Bible did tell us that Paul’s handkerchiefs and aprons healed the sick (Acts 19:11–12), but he never taught us to depend on them. God lives in you by His Spirit, and you can talk to Him anywhere and anytime. Your prayers, your faith, and your trust in His Word are what matter most. Always remember that God hears you and cares for you. Put your trust in Him and in what His Word says. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES TEEVO PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME WEDNESDAY, 19TH AUGUST 2026 LITTLE FAITH CAN GROW (No Amount Of Faith Is Insignificant) TO THE BIBLE - Romans 12:3 KJV “For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith." LET’S  TALK Stefan  always  thought  he  didn’t  have  enough faith as a Christian. He figured his was less than Christine’s, who always had miracles and supernatural events happening in her life. This was Stefan’s thinking till the day he heard Romans 12:3 preached in church. He suddenly realised he had all the faith he required for an awesome life and, in fact, could grow his faith. This same amount of faith is what you’ve received as God’s child. Notice Paul didn’t say in our opening scripture: “…a measure of faith”; rather, he used the definite article “the.” This shows that there’s only one measure of faith, and He gave it to you when you were born again. You might ask, “If I already got the faith I require, why did Jesus then say in Mark 11:22: ‘Have faith in God’”? Or  as  the  marginal  reference  in  some  versions  puts  it, “Have the faith of God.” As a new creation, you’re born of God’s Word, with faith in your spirit. Faith came to you as a seed when you received the Gospel, and it’s the same size given to every one of us. What you’re supposed to do is to use it and grow it. You increase your faith by hearing the Word (Romans 10:17) and make it stronger by acting on the Word. Glory to God! GO DEEPER 2 Corinthians 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. PRAY Dear  Father,  I  thank  you  that  my  faith  is  continually  being increased through your Word and strengthened as I act on it. I thank you for helping me build a world-overcoming faith to prevail in any situation, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. WEDNESDAY AUGUST 19 2026 THE UNVEILING OF TRUTH But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty… not handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God (2 Corinthians 4:2). Our opening scripture talks about the manifestation of “the truth.” But what is truth? We find the answer in the words of the Lord Jesus in John 17:17, “… thy word is truth.” God’s Word is truth. However, not everything quoted from the Bible is the Word in truth. For it to be the Word of God, it must be consistent with the doctrine of Jesus Christ and the provisions of the Gospel. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the unfolding of divine truth. Outside the Gospel, truth remains veiled, but in the Gospel, truth is revealed, opened, and made clear. Truth was unknown until the Lord Jesus was manifested. He’s the unveiling of God’s plan, purpose, will, ideas and opinions. That’s why Paul uses the word “manifestation” (Greek: Phanerosis). It’s the same word used in 1 Corinthians 12:7: “But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.” The manifestation of the Spirit is the outward expression of the Spirit in His varied dimensions. In the same way, the manifestation of the truth is the outward expression of the truth—God’s Word in and through us today. For you to truly live for Jesus Christ, you need to know His Word because you can’t manifest what you don’t know. You have to first know the truth to walk in the truth, and as 3 John 1:4 says, “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.” When you have imbibed the truth of God, it controls your mentality. It becomes your way of thinking and shapes your viewpoints, opinions and ideas. God's Word has taken a hold of your personality, and it’s being manifested through you. So, God’s desire isn’t only for you to talk the truth but to live the truth, in reality. This is why you must not live your life on the basis of assumptions. Study the Word to know, for the Bible says, “Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD…” (Hosea 6:3). This is your calling: to know and manifest the truth in clarity, with conviction and with power. Glory to God! Prayer / Confession Holy Father, I thank you for the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which is the unfolding of truth. My understanding is enlightened by your Spirit, and I walk in the light of your Word. I manifest the truth and express your righteousness and glory today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. I am a blesser and a giver; I impact my world with the investment of my personality. My spirit is attuned to the right frequency! Thank you for the authority you've given to me in Christ to establish your will on earth and in the lives of people everywhere. I’m strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Today, I take charge of situations from the realm of the spirit. I stand against any attempt of the devil to force the Church to live in a world of the beast before his time.
