So company Y acquired another company. The newly acquired company works in the realm of credit card. So certain employees decided to use some information and made an investment and made more than millions. This kinda of made them suspicious as they became millionaires over time. The company opened an investigation and found which information they used to make the investment. They were persecuted with insider knowledge trading and found guilty. Now they are in jail for it. Crazy man 😆.

Shadow testing is a way of testing new feature releases on a prod env without actually delivering anything to the clients. Here is how it works. A clients sends request to your system and you’ll make a copy of that request and play it on another prod machine which has the release candidate. You’ll then compare the result of both runs at the end of the day and check for any discrepancies. You’ll start with few sample requests then increase the number of sample requests to increase your confidence in releasing that feature to prod.
