Repost from Such is Life
Gugut, Dave and I are in the process of making two short films with a production company — something we’re really excited about. Can’t share all the details yet, but trust me, it’s gonna be special.
When we did the Iranian movie marathon back in June, so many of y’all pulled up, and that energy was fucking awesome. It suddenly became alive when we all did it
So we wanted to extend an invitation to anyone who would like to be part of this shoot as an actor or as an extra (no experience required). Since it’s a proper production, you’ll get a full-on filming experience and see what it’s like on set.
We'll also have some seasoned veterans there to guide and support us, so y'all can link with them too. We're there too so it'll be a vibe
You can find us here and we'll reach out
Share this with anyone you think will be interested. As always, I appreciate all of you. Glad to be back

Why dig up old bones and try to piece together a skeleton when you could be out living your life, making new bones to bury?

Let just not try to understand
Just feel.
What I am and would be
What.

a deep sense of fulfillment, huh? If anyone finds a store selling that, please let me know. I'll take two. One for me, and one for my existential dread.
Because honestly, fulfillment seems like one of those mythical creatures, like unicorns or affordable housing. You hear about it, but you never actually see it in real life.
So, where do they sell it? I guess you could say some people find it in their careers, climbing the corporate ladder and accumulating wealth and power. But that sounds exhausting, and also like a good way to develop a stress-induced ulcer.
Other people find it in relationships, building a family and creating a loving home. But that also sounds terrifying, and also like a good way to develop a permanent sleep deficit.
Then there are the 'spiritual' types who find it through meditation, yoga, and communing with nature. But frankly, I'm too impatient to meditate, too inflexible to do yoga, and too allergic to pollen to commune with nature.
Maybe it's all one large lie.
The issue with this is....I believe everything will have an answer
And if this doesn't
.
I do not know what to do with me.

'Please don't make me go to therapy, because I'm pretty sure I'll just unearth a bunch of stuff I'd rather keep buried'? I get it. I really, really get it.
It's like you're walking through life with a perfectly curated playlist of denial, and the thought of someone hitting shuffle and playing all the embarrassing B-sides from your past is terrifying.
And for good reason! Who wants to revisit the awkward middle school years, the questionable fashion choices, the heartbreaks that still sting a little even now? It's like opening Pandora's Box, except instead of releasing demons, you're releasing repressed emotions and embarrassing memories.
The past is the past, right? It's over and done with. Why dig up old bones and try to piece together a skeleton when you could be out living your life, making new bones to bury? So many skeletons and more come.
I get it, it is really cool to have bones burried.
You get a high feeling!
You’re basically Indiana Jones of your own psyche, except instead of finding a golden idol, you're just going to find a lot of dusty regrets and unresolved issues?
