Very interesting episode especially considering the underlying mechanics and implications — apart from the abrahamic framing, and the claims of a specific species. In the buddhist cosmology conception of a human is accompanied by the descending of a gandhabba, a type of celestial being, which is present during the insemination process. In Tibetan Buddhism, a male child was more attracted to the mother and a female child more towards the father. 🔗🔗🔗

The pension trap Eternity is a delusion arising due to the limited scopes beings (above and below) posses. In the buddhist lore the Devās (gods) imagine themselves to be eternal, since their lifespans are so vast. They simply forget about their arising, and on the other hand, are unable (ignorant) to delineate their (inevitable) demise. Devās are considered to be very buoyant, since they enjoy great pleasures. These arise as the fruits of their past virtues, of the meritorious deeds they have performed, and are performing. This might serve as a bridge to the title of this writing, since the pension system has a similar concept. Yet unlike the workings of Karma, Kali Yuga's pension systems are not perfect, but rather a scam. I am not an expert and the details, apart from modern day bureaucracy being overly complex, yet the existence of inflation serves well enough to illustrate how stupidly designed the system is. Since every coin given to the system 30 years ago will not have the same value anymore once the pensionist received it, it's a superficial example, yet i want to focus on other aspects: "Wer rastet der rosted." literally translates to "Who rests, rusts"; or "You snooze you lose." — gernan nursery rhyme. The underlying mechanics of existence dicatate constant change. This is reflected in the constant turnover which the elemental forces undergo. Yet not only around each individual, but especially inside, as the mere ownership of a body signifies constant struggle to balance the elements, and to uphold an equilibrium — such a contemplations might serve as opportunities to develop the wisdom of impermanence. Just as the body's maintenance (eating, defecating, sleeping) is an ongoing task, external maintenance is as well, and financial aspects fall into this category. While it is true that the youthful potential and vigour fade with growing age, the idea of an idle resting phase is very dangerous. Meaningful tasks not only give purpose to one's life, but they also make the daily schedule more interesting. Of course there are folks out there who'd fill their time as retirees in meaningful ways, yet the temptation of just enjoying life and letting oneself go (of booming around 😂) is greatly enhanced if one worked really hard for 40/50 years. Certainly an otherwise structured work approach would be desireable, for example, working 20 instead of 40 hours a week, leaving more room for individual approaches. This way, the self dependence would be promoted, which on the other hand, by solely relying on one's pension is decreased, since one is dependent of the system. That there's danger in depending on a society that was envisioned, set up and where key positiones are run by cannabalistic pedophiles should go without saying. While i didn't explore the nitty gritty of the pension system, i hope that the picture of idle boomerism, paired with sole reliance on western medicine is not only undesirable, but outright dangerous. I do acknowledge the value and possibly good intentions by the fathers of the pension system — yet it's much more desirable to grow old and to be supported by one's own diligence, family, or at least one's immediate community — instead of relying on a coldhearted, technocratic scheme, and that's why i call the pension system a trap.
