Em 16 de julho, a cláusula de notificação da ordem 13-848 foi acionada. Ao longo de vários anos, a partir do ciclo eleitoral de 2020, a República Popular da China realizou o que se acredita ser o maior vazamento de dados eleitorais da história. Terceiro, a constatação que serviu de notificação aos administradores eleitorais. Sabemos com certeza que nossos adversários estrangeiros possuem componentes que são peças vitais em nossas urnas eletrônicas. Sabemos que eles podem acessar o que consideram a chave. Sabemos que eles podem alterar o cadastro eleitoral e o seu voto. Agora, veremos a guerra de narrativas atingir níveis sem precedentes nos próximos dois meses. O Departamento de Justiça está enviando cartas a todos os registradores eleitorais dos condados da Califórnia exigindo que ajudem a identificar possíveis não cidadãos. Inadimplência dos administradores eleitorais antes, durante e após a eleição. O registrador do condado de Los Angeles, Dean Logan, confirma que membros de sua equipe receberam intimações do grande júri criminal. Dean Logan rejeitou inicialmente a exigência do governo Trump de que seu escritório separasse 20 mil cédulas que, segundo o governo, provavelmente pertenciam a não cidadãos. Se você aceitar cédulas de não cidadãos, estará sendo cúmplice de Crimes graves. Washington se recusou a compartilhar a lista completa de eleitores registrados com informações de identificação. Quase todos optaram por ignorar os US$ 1 bilhão em verbas destinadas a garantir a segurança do voto. Ou seja, se esses estados quiserem receber a verba, terão que implementar medidas de segurança. E, quer saibam disso ou não, estão sendo monitorados pelo Departamento de Guerra. Foi divulgado um memorando convocando todos para se empenharem na segurança cibernética de nossa próxima eleição. O Comando Cibernético dos EUA, em colaboração com a NSA, pode conduzir operações cibernéticas ofensivas contra redes, servidores e infraestruturas estrangeiras utilizadas para viabilizar o ataque. Trata-se da clássica postura de “defesa proativa”, que consiste em identificar, interromper ou enfraquecer sistemas estrangeiros de comando e controle, pontos de distribuição de malware ou plataformas de influência fora do território dos EUA. A USAID e a Cidade de Londres foram sangradas. O dinheiro se foi. Acabo de informar aos meus colegas formuladores de políticas e à equipe do Banco Central Europeu que estou deixando o cargo.
