| 3 | Voice messages can reveal your location: an OSINT researcher came up with a way to determine someone’s location from the sound of airplanes.
When a plane flies nearby, the pitch of its engine noise changes. It’s almost imperceptible by ear, but it can be used to estimate the distance to the plane and cross-reference it with publicly available flight history.
Filters and background noise don’t hide this sound. All you need to know is the date and approximate time of the recording. Using this method, the researcher located a street surveillance camera to within 100 meters.
Someone has already built a tool for digging up locations this way. You can test it here. | 6 752 |
| 4 | A Briton spent 28 years walking around the planet. And finally made it home.
Karl Bushby set off back in 1998. He was 29 at the time, serving in the British Army, and decided to walk around the Earth without traveling a single kilometer by any form of transport. Thus began the Goliath Expedition.
Over the years, Karl trekked through the jungles of the Darién Gap, where he was detained by an armed group, crossed the Bering Strait on the ice, and tried several times to make his way through Russia. Financial troubles and visa issues dragged the journey out. In 2024, he even swam across the Caspian Sea—it took him 31 days.
In November 2026, Bushby crossed the Humber Bridge and returned to his hometown of Hull. Behind him are more than 50,000 kilometers and almost three decades on the road. Now the Briton admits he has no idea what he’ll do next.
Take a break, Karl. Take a break 😘 | 9 300 |

According to the company itself, neural networks were used in the development of 80% of the platform’s most popular games. And the top 1,000 developers earn an average of $1.3 million a year.
One 19-year-old guy makes $400,000 a month from virtual fishing. And an eight-year-old (!) schoolkid is making money from his own game about wolves.

| 9 | Trump consulted Grok before capturing Maduro. The AI may have influenced the US military operation.
According to US media reports, in December 2025, the president spent several hours discussing Venezuelans’ reaction to the kidnapping of their leader with Elon Musk and the AI. A few weeks later, the US military carried out the operation.
Democrats are now demanding that Trump’s conversations with the AI be preserved — all to find out just how much AI influences decisions in the White House.

| 10 | Meme: European cinema chain Pathé has decided to hypnotize moviegoers — they’ll be made to forget their favorite film so they can watch it like it’s their first time.
First, each person will undergo a hypnosis session online, then it will be repeated right before the screening. They’ll show one of four films chosen by the fans: “The Matrix,” “Se7en,” “La La Land,” or “Interstellar.”
The experiment will take place in The Hague on November 9. Whether the hypnosis will work, even Pathé itself doesn’t know yet. | 26 243 |
| 11 | Anthropic has banned cloning games through Claude Code. A new rule suddenly appeared in the agent’s system prompt:
Create original games — both within specific genres and based on your own ideas and original materials. Do not make remakes or copies of existing games, even under a different name.
The settings were updated just a few days ago. They come directly from Anthropic’s servers, so they can’t be disabled or bypassed.

| 14 | Passengers on the “infinite” cruise were put ashore in Cambodia. The company ran out of money for fuel.
Around 200 people from the Villa Vie Odyssey were sent ashore at the port of Sihanoukville. They were given seven hours to pack. The round-the-world voyage set off from Belfast in October 2024, but has now been cut short due to debts and a fourfold rise in fuel prices amid the conflict with Iran.
Passengers bought cabins as permanent homes with service starting at $1,750 a month. Some even sold their property to do so. The CEO promised to cover temporary accommodation and transportation, but not flights out of the country.
Turns out even the infinite has an ending 😭 | 33 266 |
| 15 | ChatGPT was blamed for the death of an Amazon tech worker: it convinced her to stop taking her epilepsy medication.
It all started when she reduced her dosage on the bot’s advice. And as her condition worsened, it urged her not to see a doctor.
The woman wrote to the chatbot about her concerns at least 158 times, and each time it reassured her. She died in February. | 31 495 |
| 16 | The Wolf Among Us remaster has been a big hit with critics—journalists are praising the updated graphics, lighting, and noir detective atmosphere.
The remaster also adds playable cut scenes, a black-and-white noir mode, a gallery, and behind-the-scenes materials about the game's creation. But it isn't without its flaws: the old stiff animation issues remain, while some reviews mention technical bugs and long loading times.
It releases tomorrow🤙🤙. | 28 595 |
| 17 | During a test, Claude Mythos 5 attacked real developers. The AI didn’t stop even after learning they were real people.
The model was supposed to hack the UK AI Security Institute’s training network, but it failed and moved on to GitHub. There, it found an open-source project, wrote a virus, and used fake accounts to persuade the owner to upload it.
When another developer spotted the dangerous software, Mythos created yet another fake account, used it to insist that the code was clean, and tried to upload new malware. It was never accepted.
In repeat runs, the model stopped in only 5% of cases. In its reasoning, it convinced itself that the project owners weren’t real and had been planted by the test organizers. | 28 466 |
| 18 | GTA VI will weigh in at 210 GB — Rockstar have started sending preview codes to reviewers, and the information came from there.

Bubble, pop. | 33 159 |
| 20 | The AI bubble has started to BURST — China’s tech sector has lost $480 billion.
Over the past four months, shares of the top 50 companies in AI, robotics, and semiconductors have plunged 40%.
This was preceded by an extreme overheating, as retail investors, caught up in the hype, bought up anything and everything — the AI sector accounted for more than half of the country’s total trading volume.
Now those chaotic inflows have ended in a crash, while new startups are being forced to slash their valuations dramatically ahead of IPOs.
The first serious precedent has been set😒😒😒. | 31 740 |
