It deserves serious support. #supporta2sv A2SV (Africa to Silicon Valley), founded by Emre Varol, has already spent over $660,000—without government support—to train and launch the careers of dozens of brilliant Ethiopian developers. These students now work at Google, Amazon, Meta, Palantir, Databricks and other global tech giants. Now, Emre is in talks to move A2SV’s HQ to Rwanda, where they see the value. He has publicly said that any future funding will not be invested in Ethiopia unless our government or wealthy Ethiopian allies step up and support.
