Senior Backend Java Developer Required Years: 3 to 5 years Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Java Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will design, build, and deploy high-performance, resilient backend microservices powering mission-critical systems. You will work closely with containerized Cloud-Native architectures, database optimization, and modern Java frameworks. Key Responsibilities: - Architecture & Development: Design and maintain scalable, low-latency microservices using Spring Boot and Quarkus. - Containerization & Deployment: Manage deployment pipelines and run cloud-native services on Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes. - Database Management: Write optimized SQL, design schemas, and handle complex persistence layers using Oracle Database. - API Integration: Build clean, secure RESTful and SOAP APIs and ensure seamless integration across frontend and core backend systems. - Code Quality & Mentorship: Drive best practices in code reviews, security, and performance tuning. Key Requirements: - Must-Have Technical Experience: - Expertise with Spring Boot and modern lightweight frameworks like Quarkus. - Proven experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift. - Deep proficiency with Oracle Database (PL/SQL, query optimization, indexing, transaction management). - Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automated testing frameworks. - Preferred Experience: Banking / FinTech Domain: Background in core banking systems, digital payment flows, transaction processing, or financial security standards. - Nice-to-Have: Experience with frontend frameworks, specifically React.js, for full-stack collaboration or internal dashboard development.
