Third, the restoration of the true kingdom message — a message that reveals Christ in every area of human life, restoring integrity to both church leadership and national leadership. The message of righteousness and purity was almost completely omitted, creating room for immorality and corruption to be justified on a diabolical scale. Carnality and humanism were exalted. Prayer efforts declined. Discernment weakened. And materialism was so deeply woven into the gospel that men of diabolical wealth were celebrated as ministers of Jesus Christ.
