SCRIPTURE A woman, when she is in labor, has sorrow because her hour has come; but as soon as she has given birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world. John 16:21 (NKJV) PRAYER Almighty God, Heavenly Father, we rejoice that You give life and that You turn sorrow into joy when a child is born into the world. We praise You for every newborn placed in our homes and across this land, received as a gift from Your hand rather than delayed or diminished by the patterns of this age. We ask that You would fill parents with wonder and steadfast love, that mothers would be strengthened in tenderness and fathers in faithful provision, and that families would honor the preciousness of new life You have given. Open hearts everywhere to newly appreciate the miracle of a child, and grant that we would welcome little ones as You have welcomed us. Shelter them, we pray, from every teaching that would confuse what You have made, and raise up households that receive children with gladness and train them in truth. We pray that You will establish Your people everywhere in quiet faithfulness, that we would not grow weary, nor fail in the duties You have given us in our homes and communities. And we ask You now for strength to meet all of our responsibilities for the week ahead, that we may walk in gratitude and finish the work set before us. We ask this in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

SCRIPTURE 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2 (NKJV) PRAYER Almighty God, Heavenly Father, we pray to You, thankful to be called Your children, and we ask that You renew our minds this week, and the minds of many across our land. We pray that You will keep parents from being pressed into the world’s pattern that hides truth from them, especially mothers in these recent times. We ask also for strength in our homes, so that marriage is honored, children are received as gifts rather than delayed by false promises, and mothers are held in both tenderness and accountability. We pray that You grant Your people Holy courage, that they may enter public institutions and yet refuse the corruption of this age. We ask that You would keep them salt that still seasons, and light that still shines. And we pray that You shelter the little ones from every teaching that would confuse what You have made, that with renewed minds we may do what is good, acceptable, and perfect in Your sight. We ask this in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Colossians 3:14–17 (NKJV) Comfort in Suffering 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ. 2 Corinthians 1:3–5 (NKJV) PRAYER Heavenly Father, We praise You that in our Lord we are elect, holy, and beloved, and that You are the Father of mercies and God of all comfort. Give us grace to live that calling with tender mercy, kindness, and humility. Guard our tongues, we pray, in a week of sharp words and public claims. Make us ready to bear with one another, quick to forgive as our Savior has forgiven us, and eager to put on love, the bond of perfection. Let the peace of God rule in our hearts as one body, and let His word dwell in us richly. May all we do this week, in word and deed, be done in the name of Your One and Only Son, with thanksgiving to You through Him, and with the consolation that abounds through Christ. SCRIPTURE 31 Jesus answered them, “Do you now believe? 32 Indeed the hour is coming, yes, has now come, that you will be scattered, each to his own, and will leave Me alone. And yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me. 33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." John 16:31–33 (NKJV) PRAYER Heavenly Father, We thank You that in Christ we have true peace, for You have spoken these things so that we may rest in Him. Though we face tribulation in this world, You call us to be of good cheer, because our Lord and Savior has overcome the world. Today we pray that You will settle our hearts in the deep peace that flows from Your One and Only Son. Uphold us by Your Word when trials press near, and fill us with quiet courage and living hope. Grant us strength, Father, to fulfill every duty and responsibility set before us in the week ahead, walking steadily in the victory Christ has already won. Comfort our souls with the assurance of Your presence, we pray, and guide us to live faithfully every day for Your glory. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, Amen.

SCRIPTURE 13 But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth, 14 to which He called you by our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions which you were taught, whether by word or our epistle. 16 Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace, 17 comfort your hearts and establish you in every good word and work. 2 Thessalonians 2:13-17 (NKJV) PRAYER Heavenly Father, We thank You that from the beginning You have chosen us for salvation through the sanctifying work of Your Spirit and belief in the truth. You have called us by the gospel to share in the glory of our Lord. We pray that You would establish our hearts and strengthen our hands in every good word and work. Grant us the grace and courage to stand fast, holding firmly to the truth of Your Word and the teachings handed down to us. Comfort our hearts with Your everlasting consolation and steadfast hope, and guide us each day to walk faithfully in Your will. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, Amen.

SCRIPTURE 11 Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: 12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. 19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. 20 Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen. Philippians 4:11-13, 19 (NKJV) PRAYER Dear Father in Heaven, You teach us contentment in every circumstance and strength through Christ. We pray that You supply the strength to meet all our needs according to Your riches in glory, and grant us faith and perseverance this week so that our lives may reflect Your will and glory. SCRIPTURE 14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16 (NKJV) PRAYER Dear Lord Jesus, You have called us the light of the world. Fill us with Your Spirit so our lives shine brightly with goodness and truth. Strengthen our families, guide our steps, and let every good work point others to You, that Your name may be glorified. Amen.

SCRIPTURE 4 Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. 6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

PRAYER Almighty God in Heaven, we pray to You this week for the people of Texas Hill Country affected by the recent flooding. We pray that You will comfort those who have lost homes and livelihoods. Help provide for their needs, and bring restoration. We pray that You will strengthen the churches and communities offering shelter and aid, and fill the people with Your hope and peace. O Father we are thankful beyond words to be called Your children. We are always mindful and thankful for the wisdom You share with us. Forgive us for where we have faltered, and strengthen us, we pray, through Your Holy Spirit with the strength we need for the week ahead. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

SCRIPTURE 8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light 9 for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth, 10 finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. 11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. Ephesians 5:8-11 (NKJV) PRAYER Lord, help us walk as children of light, expose darkness with truth and grace, and guard and strengthen our families in Your ways. May we redeem this time for Your glory. Amen.

SCRIPTURE “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.” Philippians 4:6 (NKJV)

PRAYER Heavenly Father, how great is the grace that keeps us. You chose us. You redeemed us. You called us by Your Spirit, and You have not let us go. Not one promise You have made has ever failed, and not one ever shall. We praise You. We see clearly the battle for human life, for family, for truth in our land. We will not look away from it. But we will not fear it either, for Your purposes are not shaken by what shakes us, and Your plans are not slowed by what slows us. So fill us, Father, with the calm that comes not from everything being easy, but from knowing You. Let Your peace, the peace that passes all understanding, guard our hearts. Let Your joy, which no week can take, rise in us. And let hope overflow, for Yours does not disappoint. Forgive us, Father, where we have fallen short. And grant us, we pray, the strength to meet every responsibility You have placed before us in the week ahead, that our daily lives reflect Your grace and truth. And into this week we go, resting not in ourselves, but with certain and overflowing joy and hope in our Savior. In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

PRAYER Lord God, our Heavenly Father, we have witnessed Your faithfulness across every season, and we are humbled to be counted among Your children. We pray before You today, grateful that by Your mercy we are heard. We stand before You in a moment that asks much of us. We confess that we fall short of Your glory and we approach You on no other basis than Your mercy. Yet we stand not in our own righteousness but by Your grace alone, secured for us through the cross and resurrection of Christ. And therefore we stand not in despair but in quiet confidence, knowing that neither this moment, nor any other, can separate us from Your love. For no government, no ruler, no power on earth has ever been required to accomplish Your purposes, nor can any of them stand against You. Your kingdom has outlasted every empire that imagined itself invincible, and it will outlast this moment too. Hear us then, through our Savior, in whom every promise of God is yes. Grant us the peace that is not the absence of trouble but Your presence within it, and joy that this week cannot take from us, by the power of Your Holy Spirit within us. For the sake of our families, our children, all who gather in Your name, and our nation, we trust in You. In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

PRAYER Almighty God in Heaven, our Father, we pray to You today, ever mindful of all You have done for us, always aware of Your greatness, and thankful, amid our imperfections, for the calling You have placed upon us. And we pray today, sincerely, here in this earthly world, where we confess, we are tired at times. Not defeated, but tired. We are tired of watching confusion pressed upon our children of all ages as though it were "kindness." We are tired of defending what Your Word has always made plain: that You made us as man and woman, that life begins with You, that the family is Your design and not ours to redesign. We understand those things and believe them in our hearts. We are tired of seeing these practical foundations chipped at, day after day, in classrooms and courtrooms and even in some corners of the Church. So we pray today, not to complain, but to do what our Savior, Your Son, told us to do. We pray to ask. "Ask," He said, "and it will be given to you." Therefore, we ask, Father, not that everything be easy, because we are willing to do the hard work. But we ask that You strengthen us so that we are able. We ask that we would be strengthened with power through Your Spirit in our inner being. That Christ would dwell in our hearts through faith. That we, being grounded in love as You have taught us, would have the strength we need to stand through all of this. Bless us, Your children, with Heavenly strength, as we carry the light of Your Word into a culture that, near home and around the world, seems to prefer the dark. We confess we do not always understand why. But we see it, and it will not deter us from standing firm in the knowledge, the Truth, You have granted us. And guard religious liberty, we pray, O Father. Where Your believers have been free to speak and gather and teach, let that freedom hold. And where public life seems to drift away from You, give us not bitterness, nor the frustration we sometimes fear we will give in to, but the steady, patient, faithful wisdom of those who know how this ends. For we do know how this ends. Every knee will bow, every tongue will confess. And evil will not prevail. So as the new week opens before us, with all it will ask of us and all we cannot yet see, we go forward in faith, leaning on strength that is not our own but Yours. For it is only in You, day by day, moment by moment, that we are made able, through Christ who strengthens us. In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

PRAYER Heavenly Father, we come before You today grateful to be called Your children, thankful for Your constant love and protection, yesterday, today, and forever. We give thanks that in every city and town, Your people are gathering, worshiping, and turning to Your Word. Even as pressures mount on every side, we rest in the promise that evil shall not prevail. Lord, we feel the weight of these days. Confusion spreads through our culture and touches our children. We see pressure on our families at every turn, and voices even within the Church wavering from Your Word. Yet we will not be defeated. For You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Forgive us, Father, for where we have fallen short. Today we pray again deeply thoughtful of those You have placed in authority over our nation. Grant them, we ask, the wisdom that comes from above, that they may lead with discernment and courage, and that, if it be Your will, You would guide our land, and all nations of our earthly world, toward peace. Guard our children, we pray. Grant courage to every parent standing firm in Your truth. And for families facing the quiet pressures of this season — remind us that You have never failed those who trust in You. As we enter this week, grant us strength to meet every responsibility You have placed before us. Fill us with the peace that surpasses all understanding, the joy that no circumstance can steal, and the hope that does not disappoint. For we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us, and this hope is living, certain, and sure. In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

PRAYER Heavenly Father, we thank You that You work all things together for good for those who love You. In that promise our hearts find rest. When the world grows loud with confusion, Your peace, deeper than any sea and higher than any storm, stands guard over our hearts and minds. Today we pray for families facing uncertainty, for parents who stand firm in Your truth, and for Your believers as they rise to meet this time. Grant us, we ask, the full armor You have provided, that we may shine all the more brightly as a nation that so needs Your light. O Father, how great is the grace that keeps us! The Helper You have sent does not leave us. He teaches us, He guides us, He reminds us of all that You have spoken, and that we must not fear, and so we are not afraid. Forgive us, Father, in Your mercy that is new every morning, for where we have fallen short. Strengthen us, we pray, for the week ahead. Fill us with the joy and peace of believing, that we may walk every day in living hope, by the power of Your Holy Spirit and the light of Your Word. In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
