The news will resume here tomorrow evening, Israel time.
Following the terrorist attack today, Israel's Minister of Finance and Minister in the Ministry of Defense Bezalel Smotrich instructed the immediate demolition of a wide range of illegal Arab structures adjacent to the site of the attack.
Following the directive, an immediate demolition has begun of illegal houses near the location where the attack occurred this morning in Hebron.
The engineering equipment is already operating after the rapid evacuation of the Arab population at the site.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also explains following today's terrorrist attack:
The model of the refugee camps in northern Samaria will be applied to the neighborhood in Hebron from which the terrorists came out.
Netanyahu also noted that a large-scale military operation will soon begin in Judea and Samaria to eradicate terrorism.

Israeli Minister of Defense, Israel Katz:
I have just concluded a joint visit with the Prime Minister to the site of the recent clash near Hebron.
As the Prime Minister and I have warned, the Shiite axis led by Iran, along with its proxies, and the Muslim Brotherhood axis are planning attacks and acts of terrorism against Israeli soldiers and civilians in order to disrupt and influence the upcoming elections in Israel.
Today, soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) bravely thwarted an attempt by a Hamas cell from Hebron to carry out a large-scale terrorist attack against civilians. Both terrorists were neutralized.
The Prime Minister and I have instructed the IDF to dismantle all terrorist infrastructure in the area of the attack, and to take decisive and unprecedented action in the neighborhood in Hebron from which the terrorists originated, following the model used in the Jenin refugee camp.
The neighborhood will be evacuated of its residents, and all terrorist infrastructure in the area will be destroyed.
The terrorists, their patrons, and those who provide them with support and assistance will pay a very heavy price.
We are determined to ensure the security of Israeli settlements and residents in Judea and Samaria, and we will do so by any means necessary.

Prime Minister of Canada, Mark Carney, praises the "great democracy" of Turkey:
Turkey is an official partner of Canada in NATO, and one of the most important countries from a geo-strategic perspective, not only in this region, but in the entire world.
We are currently in a situation where we need Turkish expertise more than ever, in order to strengthen our ability to protect Canadian citizens and fulfill our role as a full NATO ally at this stage.
Turkey is a unique country. It is a modern European country, and it is also an Asian country. It is unique in its location, at the crossroads between worlds. It has a very deep and rich history, alongside modern advancement at the forefront of technology.

Carney is quick to condemn Israel over alleged violations of human rights, yet his criticism disappears when it comes to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, whose government has spent years undermining political opposition, opressing the Kurds, restricting press freedom, and curtailing LGBTQ rights.

2 terrorists were killed in a targeted Israeli attack in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza.
Statement by Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding the terrorist attack today:
I have just concluded a security assessment with the Minister of Defense, the IDF Chief of Staff, the Director of the Shin Bet, the National Security Advisor, and the Commander of the IDF Central Command.
It appears that Hamas terrorists were planning a major attack aimed at murdering innocent civilians, as evidenced by the large quantities of weapons and ammunition discovered. Our brave soldiers thwarted this attack with courage and determination. I commend them for their actions and wish our wounded a speedy recovery.
I have instructed the IDF and security forces to immediately cordon off the city of Hebron and take additional security measures to prevent terrorist attacks originating from Judea and Samaria.
Our forces are operating with reinforcements to thwart terrorism and are carrying out extensive waves of arrests.
We will pursue Hamas terrorists and those who sent them, wherever they are and at all times.
You have nowhere to hide.
Hamas published a leaflet regarding the terrorist attack today in which it congratulates the “heroic operation in Hebron,” calling it a “natural and legitimate response” and a “living expression of the will of the steadfast palestinian people.”
Hamas: “We call on all those among the Palestinian people who bear arms to turn them against the occupier, its soldiers, and settlers, and to ignite fire beneath their feet.”
Following the terrorist attack earlier today in the Judea Regional Brigade's area of responsibility, IDF soldiers and Israel Border Police officers in Judea and Samaria launched offensive counterterrorism operations in the Hebron area, which has been placed under a cordon, and in additional areas. The soldiers are currently operating inside the residences of the terrorists and additional suspects.
Additionally, over the past week, IDF soldiers, Israel Border Police officers and Israel Police officers, based on ISA intelligence, conducted dozens of offensive counterterrorism operations throughout Judea and Samaria. Approximately 70 wanted individuals were apprehended, including individuals affiliated with the Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorist organizations and inciters against the State of Israel and IDF soldiers.
Additionally, dozens of weapons were located, including M16 rifles, Carlo submachine guns, and 4 explosive devices.
Attached is a photo of some of the weapons and ammunition belonging to the terrorists and video documentation from the shooting attack today.
2 Israelis have died of their injuries following a terrorist shooting attack at Judea Junction on Route 35, near Hebron, in Judea and Samaria (West Bank) with 3 more wounded, including 1 moderately and 2 lightly injured.
Two Arab terrorists, armed with M4 rifles and a handgun, arrived in a vehicle with Israeli license plates and opened fire at an Israeli checkpoint, triggering a gun battle lasting more than 20 minutes before both terrorists were killed by Israeli forces.
Soldiers from the Ari battalion of the Home Front Command were in charge of the checkpoint, in their first operational deployment. Security officials estimate that the terrorists planned to carry out a serious attack against civilians, and that the temporary checkpoint set up by the soldiers prevented this.
Attached is the helmet belonging to one of the soldiers who was shot in the head and survived.
Following the attack, Israeli troops imposed a military cordon around Hebron and surrounding villages, with all entrances having been closed. Searches are underway for a possible 3rd terrorist.
Yesterday, on Wednesday, the Israeli Army carried out a targeted airstrike in the Khan Yunis area in southern Gaza and eliminated Ramadan Muhammad Ashahada Diab, who served as the head of the Popular Resistance Committees terrorist organization in Khan Yunis.
The Popular Resistance Committees is a terrorist organization established in 2000. The terrorist organization, which was formerly affiliated with Fatah, is now linked to the Hamas and Hezbollah terrorist organizations and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of the Iranian terror regime.
Members of the organization took part in the October 7 massacre, infiltrating Israeli territory, murdering and abducting civilians and soldiers into Gaza. Throughout the war, the terrorist organization executed numerous terror attacks against IDF troops in cooperation with Hamas.
Throughout the war, and particularly in recent times, the terrorist advanced terror attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians and operated to restore the military capabilities of the Hamas terrorist organization, in a systematic violation of the ceasefire.
