Maharashtra IAS officer Dr Pooja Khedkar accused of using fake certificates for selection An impending crisis for UPSC and potentially for DoPT. Allegations of fake OBC, Fake Physically handicaped and first posting in home disctrict. Allegations that she even did not go to AIIMS medical test despite being called for 6 times. Then a case was filed by UPSC against her and CAT denied her posting. Still an IAS officer. If issue is not sorted by UPSC and DoPT then it may cast serious blow to transarancy of UPSC and exam process of Civil Services. There are allegations that UPSC and DoPT have this racket growing among elite circle who ensure all this to get IAS services. What do you think guys? UPSC was the last institution in which students and aspirants had utmost faith. That faith is shattered today. I have always raised my voice against the unethical practices of the coaching industry. Curious case of Puja Khedkar!!! The Puja Khedkar case involves a controversial Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer who has been accused of using fake certificates to gain advantages in her career. Despite having family assets worth 100 crores she declared only 40 crores and obtained a fake Other Backward Class (OBC) certificate. Additionally, she allegedly used a fake blind certificate to seek benefits. Her father, a politician, had contested elections and used a red beacon on his Audi, symbolizing his political influence. Khedkar herself has filed a case demanding more attempts in exams and special treatment equivalent to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes (SC/ST) candidates, despite being ranked 821 in the exam.
