One of the biggest traps you can fall into right now is vibe coding an app without proper upfront planning. I’ve been building a massive AI data collection platform with over 80 endpoints. When we started, we were a team of four, but the others became inactive, and it fell on me to handle the entire frontend and backend alone. At first, I wrote every single line of code manually. I built the entire application structure myself, reading through everything to make sure I caught any mistakes. But keeping every state and process in sync across a system that size by yourself is exhausting. Eventually, I tried to lean on Claude to speed things up, but because I started throwing tasks at it without a tight structure, it introduced highly implicit, weird bugs that I'm still stuck fixing now. What I learned is that handing tasks to an AI is useless unless you lay down the background yourself and monitor every single step. AI is powerful, but you have to be the architect from day one, don't just hand over the keys and pray! have a good day #save #Architecting

Guys you might have heard about the recent supply chain attacks going around. Basically, hackers managed to grab GitHub contributor tokens from people who work on different vs code marketplace extensions. They just did that on Nx console. Once they have those tokens, they can easily push out a malicious new version of an extension. If you have auto-update turned on, your vs code will just download that compromised version without you knowing. To play it safe for now, it's a really good idea to disable auto-updates for your extensions in vs code until things settle down. #Vulnerabilities #VsCode #save

I’m honestly blown away. 🥹❤️ Running this campaign has shown me how much support I really have behind me. I didn’t expect this kind of love. We just hit 899 votes. To say thank you, I’m doing a small giveaway for 3 random people in a lucky draw after the vote. We’ve got 3 days left, and there’s only an 11-vote gap. That’s so close. If you can spare 10 seconds, please vote and share this with your friends, family, or group chats. Vote here: https://changemakeraward.com/share/id-mo3vgy4rww8j-y6hwt.html?cat=cat_inspiring_journey I’m seriously grateful for everyone who has supported this so far. Let’s finish this together. 🏆

I was learning about how authenticator apps like google authenticator works, and it is really interesting and simple cryptography. Mainly, what they do is on the first handshake, the website(the main app) shares a randomly generated secret key in qr code or smt. The authenticator app then stores that key in local storage. That is the only time the server and the authenticator interact. After that, the app generates different codes every 30 secs on its own. It takes the secret key and the timestamp, combines them, and hashes them into a specific format to create the codes. The server does the same thing on its end. If the codes match, authentication passes. the main thing that differs this kind of 2FA is it works completely offline since it has everything it needs before hand @devwitheyob #TechVibe #2FA #save
